I randomly decided to check up this Wendy’s location on Unilocal and sure enough, people with the same issues. Now, don’t get me wrong, I realize Wendy’s is a fast food place and my expectations are in line with what you should get at a fast food place. This Wendy’s isn’t any more or less clean than any other nearby fast food joint, and the food is in line with what you normally get at Wendy’s. The magic of franchising, right? Where this Wendy’s consistently drops the ball is in actually getting your order right. We come here a bunch as it’s the closest Wendy’s to my house, and it’s seriously a coin flip as to whether or not you even get what you ordered. The craziest part? It’s standard operating procedure for the staff of this Wendy’s to then argue with you about how they didn’t get your order wrong. Here’s how it goes at every other restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life, fast food or otherwise: Me: «Oh, hey, these are cheeseburgers, I ordered junior bacon cheeseburgers.» Them: «Sorry! We’ll get you the right ones right away, just give us a minute!» Here’s how it goes at this Wendy’s, without fail, every time: Me:“Oh, hey, these are cheeseburgers, I ordered junior bacon cheeseburgers.“ Them: «Yeah, you ordered cheeseburgers.» Me: «No, I wanted junior bacon cheeseburgers.» Them: «Well you ordered cheeseburgers.» Me: «But… I… Nevermind.» It’s not just us either, I’ve seen almost identical exchanges happen with other customers too, it’s crazy. We’ve gone as far as placing our entire order, asking them to read it back to us, and ~still~ have wound up with the wrong food. At least when you have them read it back to you, you know it’s on their computers and you’ve got a leg to stand on when deciding to debate the finer points of getting what you actually wanted for lunch. It takes us an extra 15 – 20 minutes round trip to go to the Wendy’s on Orchard, which seriously cuts into our lunch time, but we do it anyway. I consider it an overall time savings because there you order your food and get what you want without needing to stand around and argue with them.

For me to give any fast food place a higher than three star rating would require the staff to be doing backflips as they serve me food that was better Quality than the actual menu… This one does however seem to be decent quality. The young man that gave us our food was very friendly and even engaged in a brief conversation at the drive up window. That said, the new pretzel roll crap burger whatever the F it is just kind of sucked. I think they need to focus more on being Wendy’s and not trying to make«gourmet» food. Still decent though…

This place is the worst. I didn’t speak Spanish, so I received the wrong order. My fries were soggy and my sandwich had melted to the wrap because it had been under the heat lamp for three days. But there is not many choices in this area. Wendy’s is the best of a bad situation. And the manager needs to learn some respect.

I love the food at Wendy’s. It’s made fresh and full of flavor. I like this Wendy’s in particular because of its location. It’s about a mile from my job and its right off rt. 31. I will definitely be back!
