The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Robin, the manager, is so nice and helpful while inquiring about a unit and signing your contract but turns unhelpful and rude the minute you actually need some sort of service. An example occurred when I was late with payment and charged $ 30, which is fine but the following month I needed in my storage unit on a Sunday evening and they forgot to take the lock off from the month before(they put a lock on when you are late with payment). This was a huge problem for me because I keep my sales samples in the unit and was leaving that night for Dallas. I had to postpone my travel for work until they opened Monday morning because they have no number in case of such an emergency, this was a huge inconvenience and put my job in jeopardy. So on Monday I merely got a «I’m sorry we forgot to take it off from when you were late last month.» At first I left in disbelief and after thinking about it and getting charged the $ 30 late fee the previous month I called back asking for SOMETHING for my inconvenience. She said she couldn’t do anything. After bantering back and for and me explaining to her that it is NOT okay to charge me a late fee and then turn around and inconvenience me by locking me out of my unit she finally gave in and gave me a $ 20 credit. Whoop dee doo. In short, this lady is rude, argumentative and seriously lacks customer service. Also Beware if you move out early you don’t get anything prorated back to you.

I wasn’t expecting to give a 5-star review to a storage place, but this one’s seriously worth it. It’s so worth it that I saved my moving-out receipt for six-months now just to be sure that it would remind me to leave them a review. Straight up, this is a two-person business with a lot of space and a hell of a personal touch. Suzanne and Chester(I could be a bit off on the names) were welcoming from the start… quite obviously southern but with that accepting and joyous nature you find around the ATX so often. They have different specials going on, so be sure to ask them. They are all about helping. Accessing the units is easy, the prices are more than affordable and there are plenty of lots to choose from. They even have vehicle storage, which does wonders for the Austin burn scene… since those vehicles aren’t technically street legal. As I’m hopping in and out of cities all the time, I look forward to checking back in with this place many times in the future.
