I don’t post much but when I saw all the consistent negative postings about AMG in Austin I thought I’d add one more. The reporting is SO bad, consistently month-to-month bad, that I cringe each time I have to reconcile what they deposited and what my report says. And the people who run the reports clearly have no idea what those reports are supposed to be telling the investors or why, because they can’t keep a consistent balance, move money between accounts needlessly. It is frustrating and confusing each month.

We have received communication from Kirby taking responsibility for the situation and also providing us with a reimbursement situation that is fair. I have the expectation that this agreement will come to fruition, in which case I will be pleased and feel as though we were treated fairly. I appreciate the conversation that was had today with Kirby and hopefully I will be able to amend this review yet again in a couple of months when all is said and done.

This is by far the worst management company in the history of management company’s for housing in Austin. Kirby, is incompetent, rude, lazy and assuming. Recently moved into a place under their management and have had nothing but problems. The receptionist is rude and will hang up if you don’t «talk nicely» or will simply just ignore your phone calls no matter what the issue is. Kirby is a downright asshole who doesn’t care about upholding the legality of the contract nor the management’s duties to fulfill those requirements. IFYOUSEETHENAMESAMGMANAGEMENTORKIRBYTAYLOR on ANYPROPERTY you are interested in. Run! Run for your life. You will always feel like punching that jackass in the face.

Completely unprofessional-should have their license revoked. Will not return your calls, the receptionist(Rosa) will hang up on you or transfer you directly to voicemail while you are mid sentence. The manager, Kirby, will tell you he’s handling your case, then goes MIA while never returning your voicemail messages… this has gone on months. I have no faith in the company and will never deal with them again. Save yourself the trouble and rent(or hire) elsewhere. Reported them to the BBB.

OK… I NEVER leave negative feedback. This is honestly the first one i have ever done. With that said, this THEWORSTMANAGEMENTCOMPANY I HAVEEVEREVEREVER user or heard of. Towards the end it was bad bad i honestly thought it was joke. I should note at first that we never had a late payment nor any complaints against us.(Besides the fine we received from HOA for uncut grass that was dated a month before we moved in. BTW our property manager tried to make us pay it) If you hear that your property manager will be Kirby… turn around and run as fast as possible. I have never met anyone as unprofessional or rude as him at a business in general. I NOTONCE got a call back when i would leave him voicemails or a single reply back to my emails. He does not take his job seriously and he DOESNOT care about his tenants. Our AC unit went out in the middle of the summer and we called Kirby to schedule a repair, it took a WEEK for him to get around to it. This was after countless calls and emails wondering if the appointment had been made with not a single response of course. The inside unit ended up flooding the unit closet and part of the carpet in the living room. About 60 days before moving out when our lease was up Kirby decided to start showing the house early. In the lease we were given 30 days before the house would be shown and havent people in and out at all hours of the day, I reckon Kirby thought 60 sounded better. I would get calls 2 months before we moved out 10 mins before people would just show up. This happen COUNTLESS times. Im all for showing the house but i would like more than a 10 min heads up. I asked most of the realtors if they had talked to our property manager Kirby, every single one of them said they couldn’t get a hold of him. After we finally moved out we sent an email to Kirby about where to send the deposit check and who to make it out to, it took him almost 2 months to get the check in the mail(After once again COUNTLESS emails asking about it) and of course it was made out to the wrong person. In the long run, the worst experience i have EVER had with a property management group. I URGE you to reconsider before using this company.

If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely THEWORST management, customer service, maintenance, response time, etc. I could go on for days. NEVER rent a property managed by these idiots.
