Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff! I went in looking to buy a couple of trees for my yard. John took time to listen to what I needed/​wanted and made solid recommendations. He took time to explain each tree’s features as well as how to properly care for each of them. John is truly passionate about what he does and it shows! I will definitely be back not only for more plants & trees but also for the 5 star customer service!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. We came in on a Saturday to landscape our backyard (ourselves) for our wedding and this place went above and beyond our expectations. The prices were so reasonable and they were all so passionate about their work, we decided to have them install all the landscaping since it seemed like such a craft that they clearly knew so much about. They helped us pick out the perfect plants for our spot, came out and arranged and planted all the plants. The best part is it was all way less expensive than if we had done it ourselves and bought everything at a chain plant shop. Its extremely rare (for me) to find a place that is passionate, does a great job and doesn’t cost a fortune. We will absolutely be going back to this place for any future plant needs!

Extremely helpful staff. They took a lot of time to research what plants would be best and last the longest for where we wanted them. We will be back.

Tired of the crowds at the big box store garden centers with staffs too busy to help you? Then check out this hidden treasure. It’s a family owned garden center with plants displayed on beautifully landscaped grounds. The staff can help you select planets and if you need help planting they can do that too. They can do your landscape plan if you want a turn key solution. But I recommend you go there to enjoy the beautiful grounds and to support a wonderful locally owned business. It’s just a few blocks off 1825 and I-​35 at 15 303 Patricia.

This is a small town nursery in North Austin. Family run, personable and knowledgeable. Everything for an experience grower or someone new to plants. Will definitely buy all of our plants here going forward.

Wow, just bought a groupon and drive over to get some new shrubs, realized that I showed up on a Tuesday and they are open Thursday — Sunday … John the owner saw me pull up and opened the get and welcomed me in ! Ended up spending 45 mins talk to John and the service was great ! I highly suggest that you swing ny and check out the unique lil place

Google doesn’t bring up this nursery and I think I accidently stumbled on it while searching the internet one day.
I went to a many nurseries in the Austin area and their trees didn’t look very healthy especially for the price. Every tree in the nursery is beautiful and the owner is very knowledgeable of his products.
I would suggest this place to all my friends and will definitely be a return customer. The best part is that he guarantees all trees for 1 year.

I happened across Arbolito Horticulture because I was in the area and Google Maps indicated this was the closest plant nursery nearby. I started to question whether Google Maps knew what it was talking about as I was driving through a neighborhood, but sure enough it was right where it said it was.
Not only was I excited to find the exact plant I was looking for (I’ve been searching Home Depot, Lowe’s and other nurseries for months!) but the gentleman I talked to was super helpful. I explained to him that I had several of these plants but half of them die. He helped me find detailed care instructions for the plants and gave me some things to help the roots take and keep the soil draining properly.
I will definitely be a returning customer!
