I contacted Austin Advantage Realtor, Mr. Gary Hoffarth, after trying, unsuccessfully by myself, to find a tenant for our rental house in north Austin. I picked Mr. Hoffarth because he was listed as the agent on a house for lease house near ours in the Millwood area. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service Mr. Hoffarth provided.
Gary was Johnny-​on-​the-​spot in returning my calls. He handled everything with courtesy and professionalism. He had contacts to come in for cleaning, and he had helpful suggestions about small and inexpensive changes that made the house more attractive to prospective tenants.
In no time after my initial call to him, Mr. Hoffarth had a sign in the yard and a listing for our house on the Multiple Listing Service so that other realtors could show the property. And within days, even though it was mid-​November and a slow time for rentals, Mr. Hoffarth had some fully qualified tenants ready to move in.
My wife and I live in San Antonio. Mr. Hoffarth’s office had the capacity to e-​mail contracts and have them e-​signed via the Internet. This saved me several trips up to Austin and expedited the transactions greatly.
Because things moved along so quickly and it wasn’t necessary for me to make the trip, I’ve never met Mr. Hoffarth face-​to-​face, but, if I had the opportunity, I’d certainly offer him my deepest appreciation for his very professional services.
