Cool shop with a hip vibe, albeit a little pricey. They have some really cool ACL stuff and other music related items. Cool tshirts and other clothes and some unique little items. It’s definately worth a visit if you’re walking around downtown and want to do some browsing. The associates come off as a little uppity, but that didn’t really bother me. They knew I wasn’t buying, just browsing. Keep it weird Austin.

I got some cute jewelry from this shop, they sell cute gifts and clothing. Possibly overpriced, but when you are in a hurry looking for gifts to buy its quick and easy mixture of things.
The store itself is neat and everything is laid out and easy to see.
The one associate there before closing however was rude and inattentive, almost as if he didn’t give a crap about this job. I’ll be walking right on by next time I’m in Austin.

Great service. Came here during a sunglasses sale and the attendant, Kalin, was so helpful. She helped me pick out three pairs, and even went into the back stock. Very impressed.

You’ll find this place easily enough as you wander downtown: just watch for the flaming guitar pick proclaiming «Austin Rocks!» on the side of the building.
Inside you’ll find clothes for men and women (including «western wear» — gotta get them pearl snaps for proper street credit), jewelry, and a lot of musical accoutrements, so ogle away you amateur musicians! I don’t know if this is the best place to buy an instrument (they erred on the side of flashy vs. functional), but I am not musically inclined so I couldn’t verify that for you.
Everything leans toward $$$, which isn’t a surprise since they cater at least somewhat to tourists with lots of souvenir stuff.
Anyway, if you want to fit in with the hipsters, check this place out. You rock!

Came in with my son to shop for the first time today. The male and female workers completely ignored us even seeing us come in the store, how rude! Liked the store very much but won’t buy due to rude associates!

Indianapolis, IN
This is a great store, whether you are looking for souvenirs or not. Yes, they have all kinds of mass produced Austin and music related merchandise (including ACL), but they also have cool clothes, and my personal favorite, the awesome jewelry (steampunk and more) and accessories (hair clips, wallets, etc.) made from things like guitar strings and recycled bicycle tire innertubes. These are hand-​crafted, upcycled items made by local artisans, and that I love to support.

BIG time tourist trap. Most of the items can’t be worn outside of a concert hall. And you have to have MONEY to spend here. Unless you come in looking important, the clerk is going to hassle you.

Went to the grand opening of this place and loved it! Great selection of rock in roll shirts for females and amazing jewelry. Right across the street from ACL Live, so it’s perfect! Located in the same building as City Hall so parking was a breeze.
