I was warned by my coworkers, but I like to try things for myself… Low quality ingredients, very pricey for the quality, and dripping in grease. I will stick to Promise Pizza when I’m in this area.

We waited for an hour and a half for our pizza got a call from the delivery driver to tell us she was stuck in traffic. We live 2.5 miles from the shop and it still took her 30min to get here. To top it off we got cold pizza and when I called to complain they could only credit back part of my order. Last time I ever order from here.

The pizza was decent but I was a bit dismayed that everything was sliding off. Maybe too much cheese?! The flavor was good(Mediterrean) and it was reasonably priced. So I would’ve given 3 stars for that. The thing that earned them an extra star is the compassion and customer service. My nephew was bored and finished before I was so he wandered up to the counter. There weren’t any other patrons inside. He starts talking to one of the guys working in there asking him what he likes to do and how they make pizza and stuff. I’m thinking oh I hope this guy doesn’t get mad that this little kid is bugging him and I call my nephew over but the guy is like no it’s cool. And he had this conversation with my nephew about the Air Force and working for what you want in life and explained what a meteorologist is to him. It was pretty amazing and I felt compelled to share as these guys look a certain way but they are very sweet!

Overpriced for no good reason and I’m slightly annoyed. $ 40(& I tip) &2 pizzas later. One pizza good but the second I could count 1 – 2 pieces of sausage *what you might call sausage* on each pizza slice. I moved the toppings to half the pizza to make it edible. I’m just like really $ 2 /topping and I get 4 measly pieces of meat. Err not cool. Not cool. Won’t order here again. :(The two stars was for fast delivery. If you want fast service on a Wednesday night and a half a** pizza… HERE! :)

I’ve made the mistake of coming here twice and both times its the same story, just another sad day. First time was a personal vegi pizza, the pie was under-cooked and had that chewy, doughy center. Toppings were fine but when you look at the crust you already can tell that it was going to be bad. It was also pricey at about $ 10; which translates into about 2 slices if you were in NYC. Second time around I decided on the pizza rolls. Again it was under-cooked. You can just look at it and tell it hasn’t been in the oven long enough. Disappointed to say the least, there is just no passion in making pies here. Perhaps this place should change it’s name to «Round Rock’s Pizza», since it’s definitely killing the Austin vibe.

Waited almost 2 hours for cold pizza. Almost $ 40…I expected more. Not very many toppings. Mostly just annoyed it took so long.

Just heat up a pan to finish cooking this pizza. It will consistently arrive late, partially uncooked, but still tasty(but only if you put this by the slice in a hot pan to finish cooking it and give the crust the crunch it deserves). If they tell you 45 min, it will be 1.5 hours. Tasty pizza. Try the Mopac.

So disappointed. Overpriced garbage and a late delivery. $ 10 for a side salad with no dressing. Pizza rolls were raw and bland. So not worth it!

First of all I spent just over $ 60 and I am highly upset with this establishment. All of our food was cold. The veggie pizza roles were tossed in the same box as the pepperoni ones so I had to open them up before biting in to them to make sure my wife got the veggie ones. We ordered three extra cups of ranch and after correcting the employee on the phone that did the readback they still got it wrong and only gave us two. The toppings on a 14″ pizza are $ 2 a piece but there was hardly any on there. We had to rearrange the toppings so every slice would have some on it! We called and complained and we got a $ 25 credit so they did fix the problem. But this happened 4⁄5 times before so I am done with this place.

Not my most favorite pizza ever, but definitely not bad either. We started with the pepperoni rolls. Didn’t like those, but then again I always WANT to like pizza rolls but, no matter where I get them from, I never like them. Lack of sauce? Maybe. Yeah, you can dip them in sauce, but still… Anyway, so we got a Downtown Specidl and subbed burger for sausage. It was good. Again, not my most favorite pizza I’ve ever tried, but still good. The pizza itself was under $ 10 and it was plenty for the two of us. The guy that helped us was super friendly, and the store(can’t call it a restaurant because there were only four booths) was simple but clean. We’ll definite try their pizza again, but will skip the pizza rolls =)

I have loved Austins Pizza for about 5 years, their Muffaletta is amazing but the last 4 times I have ordered, my pizza has been charred. Both the pizza and pizza rolls just burned and blackened on the bottom, we called to complain and were comped for a future order, but this has been to consistent. You call and get attitude, but burned is burned. Unfortunate, disappointing, to bad for them, maybe I will take up making my own pizza here at home!

It’s been a number of years since we ordered from Austin’s Pizza. We got some this past weekend, and per usual the pizza rolls are always burned. This is the PRECISE reason we stopped ordering from them, probably 3 – 4 years ago now. We’d get them burned and give feedback on it and get offered free food at a later date and have the whole thing happen over again. One time they offered to re-deliver our pizza rolls, but they decided to let the oven cool a bit(I guess they turned it down?) and those came out fine. So I guess they run their ovens too hot to normally provide tasty, unburnt pizza rolls?

Had a bad experience here a few years back. When I complained about it, I received 2 free pizzas and was told there was a change in management coming soon. Since then, I’ve been pleased. They’re a little more expensive than I’d like but they’re local so go figure.

Not the most inexpensive option if you are looking for pizza. That said, this pizza is delicious. My wife and I order The Mopac(think supreme pizza) and Torpedo Rolls on a regular basis. While the«vibe» of this shop may not be for everyone, one thing is for sure… this place is very«Austin» and they make a great pizza. This review would be 5 stars if the prices were more affordable.

I believe the cardboard container the pizza came in tastes better than this pizza. We ordered this pizza when we first moved to rr over 18 months ago and dye to starvation we ate it. It wasn’t the best. So we decided to give it another try and was still wanting our money back for a pizza. The crust is hard and dry. Not soft nor crispy and has no flavor to it at all. The sauce and cheese just sat on there and tried to mask the box you were about to eat. We lived in cities where pizza is king and this falls so short of being called pizza I wouldn’t associate such a great city to such a horrible pizza.

When it is raining and I do not feel like dancing in the rain or sometimes during sports events the wife and I will order a Pizza to be delivered. We have chosen Austin’s Pizza several times for home delivery. I have never eaten at an actual location only had home delivery. When I called I always get a nice person to talk to and find out the wait time for delivery is 45 minutes. Knowing this I always call ahead of time so the pizza will arrive when I need it. Most of the time it arrives with 30 minutes but never over 45 minutes as promised. The delivery boys or girls have always been nice and the pizza arrives hot. I forgot I order a 2 liter soda as well. We always order the large pizza with hamburger onion and tomato, my wife likes pepperoni so we get that on ½ the pizza. We get the white crust but wheat is available. We also choose the vine-ripened tomato sauce but other choices are available as well. This pizza on taste is a little better than Pizza Hut and a lot better than Dominos Pizza. The pizza is OK for home delivery. My favorite Pizza in RR(near the high school) is too far away to deliver to my house. Well we order again? Not sure since Lamppost has re-opened.

There is no such thing as a bad pizza, some are just better than others. Austin’s Pizza is close, not too expensive, not bad and not my favorite. Austin’s Pizza is not a place you plan on going, it is just a place you wind up settling for.

My favorite pizza place(non-gourmet at least) in Austin hands down. I’m a fan of the super pep or just pepperoni and tomatoes. After eating fresh ingredients at Austin’s Pizza I will not eat Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, or any of the other big chains ever again. Good mozzarella should have a flavor you know! Our favorite is a custom made, large pepperoni with roma tomatoes, but the superpep is also very wonderful. Definitely get a side of ranch if you’re a ranch lover with pizza. It’s the thin watery kind that doesn’t stick to the roof of your mouth but has tons of flavor. They charge for it(.50) because they make it fresh daily.
