Zero stars. Did not meet the terms of the contract. When I asked for these items (drywall repair, ceiling patching after popcorn removal which was AWFUL, retexturing some walls) he became defensive, saying he already gave me «freebies.» The freebie was an installation of a light fixture — his offer, not my suggestion.
I have spent hundreds in materials and countless hours trying to repair the damage myself. Learned to apply drywall mud to my ceiling. Sanded an entire ceiling. Failed at texturing the walls myself. It is six months later and I am still repairing his bad work. He told me he «fired that guy» that originally did the work, which is no consolation to me.
He’s also flirtatious (inappropriate) to a degree that made me uncomfortable. I wish I could go back in time and save myself $ 4k worth of crap. Lesson learned by a new homeowner.
