The staff was nice but we had trouble with communicating but ended up okay. The salon needs a good cleaning. A lot of dust and needs a good wipe down. I can only hope the tools were sanitized.

Very nice ladies! The only thing is that they need more workers. It’s better if you do an appointment.

I loved my mani/pedi! But I couldn’t give a higher rating because of the constant, and I mean constant chattering of the Asian employees, speaking non-stop in their Vietnamese language. I defy anyone to be able to relax in this irritating atmosphere. They are very cheap about turning on the air-conditioning and totally non-accommodating about the tv. After frequent visits, I addressed the foreign language issue(which starts off loud and continues to escalate in volume). This was not well received. In fact, they were openly in denial. Refused to even moderate the problem. Became bilgerant instead. It was also very off-putting that it is customary to lie down on a cot, behind the station, when there was not a customer in the chair, being worked on. So unprofessional. But continued jabbering even in the prone position. I know this is standard operating procedure to do in the«waxing» room but I have never seen it done out in the open. It is a shame they are unable to make this a pleasant experience because they are very affordable and super fast.

Too bad I cant give a zero for their rating — a one is being too nice. I used to go to this salon(not even right to call it a salon) because of convenience and price, but you get what you pay for. Do not waste your time and put your body up for experiments for the people that work here. They work as fast as they can to get in as many customers as they can. After going to this place for a while, I had an odd situation happen. I had been going to Stephanie for acrylics for a while. I went in to have my old acrylics removed because they were turning yellow. This is the only place I have ever gone where my acrylics turned yellow. She blamed it on me washing dishes, but it’s because their products are cheap — hence their cheap costs. She soaked my nails for a brief moment, then decided to use a nail tip to dig into my nail to get the old acrylic off. It was very painful and made my nails and hands very sore. This is a very lazy way to remove acrylics. It was obvious that she wanted to rip them off as soon as possible to be done with me. She decided to experiment on me with white tips when putting on the new acrylics without asking me. She decided to start with the pink and then the white causing the acrylics to be bumpy and crooked. I asked about it several times, but she said that she would fix it when she put the white part on and filed them down. That didn’t happen. Not only did I have sore hands — I had acrylics that were crooked and bumpy. She filed and ran the drill on my nails over and over. Then when she was done, she said so sorry it’s not working. Her experiment didn’t work. I was there for an hour and half and she had spent it messing my nails up. I told her she had to fix them — well, I stayed longer and they still came out horrible. I honestly believe that the Texas Cosmetology Licensing and Regulation should shut this place down. It’s not fair that they get away with doing such a horrible job and hurting customers this way. The funny part to my experience is that as I was there getting my nails done, another lady came in complaining about the acrylics she got breaking after three days and demanding a refund. AGAIN, cheap products. I insisted on not paying, but Stephanie said I had to pay and come back later for her to fix them. I told her that she was out of her mind if she thought I was ever going to come back… I left without paying and then had to go to another place, a «real» salon to have them fixed. Pedicures are the worst here as well. I quit getting them done way before I started getting acrylics done here because they were painful. They dig and dig in the corners of your toes leaving your toes very sore. I bled a couple of times and they just put pressure on the cut and some solution. It’s not right to come out of a nail salon hurting. Now that I’ve been going to a great place — I can’t believe that I and those who go here put their bodies in the hands of this unsanitary and a very gross place.

So I drive past this place on the way home pretty frequently. I was a bit weary of how cheap they were but decided it was easily enough located to suffer through one potentially bad acrylic fill. For $ 12 I seriously wasn’t expecting much but it had been like 3 weeks so I was DYING! To the point: This is a cheap nail salon, yes, but my nails look AWESOME. She was extremely fast but very precise. She took the time to actually clean under my nails with a tiny tool, which I really appreciated since my nail was separating from the tip(how annoying) as it had grown out. No more, she buzzed it right away. When she started painting my nails she asked me if I liked the color. She made polite but minimal chat with me. A woman was getting a mani/pedi at the same time and was just having a ball with the other women in the shop who were eager to chat her up in their cute broken English. But really, plus tip I was out of there in less than an hour at $ 15 for an acryllic fill. Oh yeah, and they have those ghetto a$$ Gucci/Chanel tips that I think are so fabulous at this shop too. I am SO going back. Cons: A bit shabby, harsh acrylic smell, the asian women seem to be constantly eating something and the shop is a bit«lived in»
