Unfortunately, worst hair cut of my life. I’m just going to have to have it grow out. Fixing it, I would lose a lot of hair I think. I have long hair and wanted my typically V shape at bottom. This was just a trim/​clean up of layers. It was apparent quickly she did not know how to properly do the V shape it as I’ve had it done/​seen it done dozens of times before. Left me under hair dryer instead of using blow drier which ran me an extra 25 minutes of just sitting there (I have a schedule too). She stood there on her cell phone right in front of me while I was under when she could have just regular blow dried me in under 10 minutes.

This was my first brazilian blowout and my first time to see Maria. She was very detail oriented, knowledgeable and super friendly. She spent about 4 hours making sure she covered every strand of my hair and did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be back :)

Purchased the groupon for $ 125 and she upcharged my girlfriend $ 75 for extra liquid.
Clearly a scam artist, take your business elsewhere.

I have been here twice for the Brazilian blowout. Maria does a FANTASTIC job! It does take a couple of hours but worth the price and it is the real Brazilian Blowout product! Thx Maria.

I did my Brazilian blowout TWICE here and Maria has done a great job hence why I came back a 2^nd time. The first time was with a Groupon and my hair is long! She explained the process to me and the additional cost to get really good results and last longer versus using the minimum solution. I understood what she was explaining and bought the additional solution. Well, my blowout lasted ONE YEAR !! I did buy the products as well. I’ve read some of these reviews and seriously Stop being cheap! You get what you pay for people! I bought the groupon to TRY this place out and did read good reviews! Now I’m a client for life and I am paying additional product to get my years worth of Brazilian blowout again! Thanks Maria!

Wow! Maria is the best! I’ve never loved my hair more than I do. I’ve received several services from Maria and not been disappointed yet! She does everything possible to get me in quickly when needed.
The salon isn’t fancy which must help her keep her prices very reasonable.

I’m in desperate need ofa hair stylist and really wanted to try the Brazilian blow out. My hair is really curly (mostly 3c/​4a) and I have benefited I’m the past from keratin treatments so thought I would give this place a try. Upon reviewing their website I read «African American hair additional $ 100» no joke! Thanks for letting me know to take my business elsewhere ahead of time!

I first tried Bella Shears with a Groupon for haircut and highlight, after a stylist at another salon overdid my highlights by leaving the solution on too long, because she double-​booked me with another client. When I explained this to Maria, and she said the words «more subtle», I knew we were on the same wavelength. I have since been back multiple times, and always been pleased with the way my hair looks as a result. Her new location on Slaughter Lane is further from my house, but worth the trip.
Note that «Bella Shears & Extensions» IS Maria, her DBA. The name on the door is Maximum Image; she is one of the stylists with a chair there. If you book through her website, you will always get Maria.

This place doesn’t honor their Groupon deals & is guilty of false advertising as far as I am concerned!
I had bought a Groupon for a $ 99 Brazilian Blowout at the Westgate location. I have medium-​long hair & in the past when I have bought «deals» for Brazilian Blowouts in the past & have gotten the charged extra because «the fine print says there is an extra charge for long hair» so now I am extra careful & double check the fine print before buying. So I check out this Groupon & Sweet! Nothing! Bought it.
During my appointment, sure enough, the tech says «oh your hair is so long, $ 50 extra for the product. It says in the fine print.» She tells me that my hair won’t look as good with out the extra product to cover it. I pull up the Groupon on the good olé IPhone as evidence & she still won’t budge. After more back & forth she says she can do the Brazlian without less product & it will look good. Fine.
Treatment is done & she says «well I don’t know how long it will last because I didn’t cover all your hair.» What?! No tip & I complained to Groupon who agreed there was no fine print!
Skip the hassle & don’t bother no matter what the deal says!
