I’ve washed my hands of this place. I’m a grown man and don’t need a high school yogurt attendant holding my hand if I want to try a new flavor. If I want to taste the toasted marshmallow I don’t need you gloving up to come over and fill my paper thimble. I’m an adult not six. Maybe I’m crazy but it drives my wife and I crazy. We’re movin on. Peace out Berry Austin.

Great place! Their yogurt is out of this world, the toppings are delicious… Is an after school most and a Sunday Classic in our family. Also my daughter love the clue game they have. It’s a very relaxing and healthy stop.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a froyo place right by my work that has green smoothies and friendly people.

Berry Austin really delivers when it comes to taste and quality. The sorbet(raspberry pomegranate) is the best I have ever had! It was very creamy and just the right combination of sweet and tart. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is Austin weird but family friendly. Will be stopping by every chance we get when in the neighborhood.

For National Ice Cream Day* 2015, I treated my family to some giant green bowls of frozen yogurt delight at the original Berry Austin off 2222& Balcones. I sure wish this homegrown froyo place had been around when I lived in the neighborhood years ago, but now I just make a point to visit whenever I can, thanks to 2 friends who live nearby and my dentist right up the road. Here’s what’s great: +.10 delicious rotating live active culture frozen yogurt flavors(including non-dairy, non-fat, and low fat), 50+ toppings, and an assortment of other options like sundaes, root beer floats, smoothies, fresh yogurt parfaits, cookies, frozen yogurt pies, and more. You’ll never get bored with the menu(see it on FB here ). + Quirky found objects art displayed throughout the store and even embedded into the colorful furniture & décor. Adorable in an «Ode to Cathedral of Junk» way, plus: recycling! + Reusable containers & utensils for those eating in. My crunchy granola heart approves. + Unilocal check-in offer for 10% off and Belly points participant. Nice! + Charitable event hosting with a percentage of sales donated to your organization. Parking can be a challenge if you visit during a busy time, but remember there are spaces on the back side of the building, too(near Twin Liquors). *Hey, it’s frozen, it’s made from milk, what more do you want from me? I like to avoid the crowds on these occasions… lol

What’s not to love at this friendly frozen yogurt shop? their balcones shop is close to my home and 2d street shop close to my office, so easy to enjoy whenever a sweet break craving strikes. We go here after school events a lot. Very family friendly. The unique art in both locations makes it a particularly fun place to explore – you’ll find something different every time. Tart flavor is my favorite of their yogurts, but my daughter prefers salted caramel.

Really good yogurt– REALLY like cake batter! They have lots of different toppings, more than any other place I’ve gone to. I’ve been going there since they opened– biggest challenge is NOT going too often!!!

Pretty good but terrible spoons! Why skimp on it with the worst scoop tool you can find?

Amazing frozen yogurt! The flavor variety is unmatched, and the Texas cup full of frozen yogurt makes a fantastic dinner. Cake batter, red velvet, and pumpkin were my favorite!

Super nice staff and great yogurt spot. I keep bugging them for Taro flavor so we’ll see if they come through. My favorite favorite frozen yogurt spot in Austin.

We LOVE Berry Austin! It is absolutely the best froyo in Austin. The regular flavors are always in stock and they keep a wide variety of interesting/seasonal/out-of-the-box flavors rotating through. Plus, the toppings are great!

My seven year old loves to come here. For him, it doesn’t get any better than frozen yogurt and a rousing game on «I Spy».

Yogurt selection seemed quite limited, but the flavors were satisfying enough that even if I could only have one or two flavors, I would have been fine. I had the cake batter, vanilla and dolce de lecha. I couldn’t even tell that some of these were gluten free. This place is quite expensive though… I was surprised at how much my yogurt came out to be given that I got half of what I might normally get when I go to froyo places.

On A Lazy Sunday… Wasn’t much happening in Northwest Hills, we were out back… watching a couple of cats meowing at each other… really loudly, when Debra said(almost yelled) «Let’s get some frozen yogurt!» We never tried Berry Austin before, so we drove and pulled in the parking lot. It was nice. Game on. When I walked into the place, there was a smile on my face… it’s like being a kid again, and I am OLD!!! Many great yogurt selections and many great topping selections and very, very friendly!

What’s not to love?! Get your cup, fill it with whatever flavor(s) of yogurt sound good(cake batter, coconut, cookies and cream, vanilla, mint chocolate, to name a few), and then go get your toppings. There’s cereal, candy, fruit, etc. Then get your cup weighed and pay! I usually get cake batter with waffle cone pieces, strawberries, and maraschino cherries. It always sounds good! In addition to all that above, the staff are nice, it’s clean, and it’s got cute décor :)

Not much to say about this place. It’s like Yogurtland, except it’s…local. And has a much, much cooler(and cozier) layout. Make your own cup of yogurt for .45 cents an ounce. The flavors themselves are scrumptious and the toppings are as well(and temptingly and maddeningly fattening!) They also serve coffee, which is a bonus. However, I was craving a cappuccino when I arrived, and all they serve is drip coffee. Oh well. Can’t have it all, right?

My austin fro-yo cherry has been popped… thank you, BerryAustin. I went into this place, not really knowing the schema of things or what to expect. Much to my delight, it’s a self-service setup. Choose your cup/bowl, pick your flavor… and let the fun begin. Toppings galore. Cap’n Crunch?! Cereal Marshmallow pieces(there is a god!), brownies, fresh fruit, candy… I just had a mogasm(mouth orgasm). I loaded up a kids cup with half cake batter and half dulce de leche. Superb. I then stepped up to the toppings counter with the bewilderment of a 5 year old walking into Toys R’ Us for the first time. Do I add candy? Fruit? Chocolate Syrup? So many options. I settled on raspberries, brownie bits and a small taste of the cheesecake bites. If I had it to do over, I would have stuck with chocolate and berries. The cheesecake pieces did not complement any of the flavors I selected. Sidenotes: I really appreciated the eclectic décor of BerryAustin, definitely felt like an Austin establishment. The service was great too. The attendant was helpful, humorous and super friendly. I can’t wait to go back… Three cheers BerryAustin!
