Central Transportation Systems

the worst company ever. will never use them again. delivery date was 9 – 15 and my freight still has not arrived. this place is a joke.

If this is the Central Transportation that Ben owns and Rollin is a salesperson for — do NOT and I repeat NOT use them!!! They are not the people/​company you should entrust your move with.
They severely damaged part of our building and are expecting us to pay over $ 2k even thought they have insurance and acknowledged responsibility. They were in full communication with the property managers the morning after the damage was caused to have the pillar fixed. But when it is way past check writing time — no check is being written for the full amount. Their insurance company, at best is offering ¹⁄₃^rd and they are REFUSING to cover the difference and it looks like they are forcing us to subpoena their telephone records to validate their communication with the property managers.
If we sat down for a cup of coffee and I told you everything — you would be in shock. I would never have thought that they ran their business the way they do (e.g., truck contents not tied down: they charge per hour per truck –which is normal… but put only 1 refrigerator in a large truck… and sent it off to our north location.; we moved from south Austin to North Austin… one exit off MoPac to another exit off MoPac and «got lost» not crediting us for the wasted time. They threw out filing cabinets they broke. and then argued with us, through their insurance company, that we didn’t hold the equipment for inspection — THEIR movers destroyed the items and then THEIR supervisors threw out the pieces… and WE are losing money!
Do NOT trust them with your business.
