Coach

Recently I was gifted a 25% off card by my hair stylist. I asked why she was not going to use it since she salivates over anything made by Coach. «My face is my coupon,» she advised.
So I ventured in and found two adorable pairs of shoes marked down AND used the 25% off. Not a bad deal. Lady Gaga would not like Coach. the shoes are classic styles and not exactly a fashion statement she would make. It’s not a place I shop very often but if it’s a sale, I’m game.
When I told them my hairstylist’s comment, the sales clerk said, «Oh, you must mean Amy!» Yep. None other.

I bought a $ 300 purse for my wife for Christmas 2011 at this Coach store in Barton Creek Mall. Turns out it was too big, like something a grandmother would carry I guess, and she hardly ever used it but didn’t want to hurt my feelings.
This is why I hate Christmas. Good grief. After 22 years of marriage, she has all the earrings, necklaces, bracelets, spa treatments, etc that a husband can possibly buy. She doesn’t need/​want a boob job or anything superficial like that, because she still looks hot. Anyway, I thought a nice purse would be great, and it seemed big and useful to me. But I digress.
Today, 15 months after me buying it, and since she never uses it all all anymore, she was going to sell it on Craigslist but I told her to call Coach and see if they do trade-​ins. I was half joking, but she did call.
The manager told her to bring it in and they’ll see what they can do. She did. To her surprise, even though it was no longer «like new», because she used it just a few times — enough to pretend she liked it until she gave up the ruse — they gave her a straight up credit for the original purchase price of $ 295, which she used to buy a much smaller purse that’s the perfect size and which she really, really likes.
This is the good thing about high end stores/​products. They charge enough to be able to provide exemplary service on occasions such as this. Me and the ‘ol lady are totally stoked and impressed. Now I’m going to have to buy my next wallet there, to show further appreciation.
Big kudos to Monica and Kate at Coach for treating my wife like a Queen and doing something as absurdly generous and letting her swap back a 15 month old item.

Going there is a fabulous Coach shopping experience! The staff is so accommodating and if not in store they will order and ship no charge to your home! If you can’t find what you want, no problem they have a computer there to pull up the entire Coach line! They will make suggestions about styles that will work for you. The manager, Nicole is fabulous, she will make it happen and you will be so pleased. This store is one of the best. I prefer these bags over the outlet ones. Stop by!
