Yes, I agree with the previous review. David is a conman that talks a lot and don’t complete work.

He could be the fastest talking conman I have ever met.. We prepaid him for work and received nothing in return. He refused to give money back. Do not use him for contracting work.

David’s crew at Hills Services Company came in and did most of the work on my remodel after I had done demo and some electrical myself. I just didn’t have time to finish it myself, it would have taken years because I have a regular day job. His workers for the most part are polite and communicative. The insulation, electrical, sheetrock and flooring went fine. His crew struggled with putting together my Ikea cabnets, I should have hired Ikea’s installers to do it. There was a problem with the plumbing subcontractor and David had to bring in another one. The plumbing still doesn’t work right — I get no hot water at the kitchen sink. Which comes to my big complaint. I have a list of punch list items from the contract that we signed that have not been completed. I have been calling and calling for last 15 months for him to come look at these items but I cannot get him to come back over. Now that I paid him the last of the money he is nowhere to be found. There’s always some excuse as to why he hasn’t been back to take care of things. I made a big mistake by not holding some money back until everything was done. No matter what contractor you hire, don’t do this. Build it into the contract so that the last $ 250 or $ 500 will not be paid until any follow-up items are complete. Otherwise you have no leverage. These contractors want to get paid and will come back if there’s money involved. But if there isn’t — good luck David can earn a higher rating if he comes back and fixes my punch list items. But until then I am giving him 1 star and a rating of don’t recommend.
