East Side Tone

Eric has a contagious enthusiasm for what he does, and it rubs off on the musicians he records and his finished product. His ears, attitude, and professionalism impressed me, and I will be recommending him to friends.
I’m a hobbyist home recorder and have been working on a demo for a new project. I found East Side Tone through Unilocal and set up a couple hours with Eric to get a second set of ears on my mix. He was an excellent teacher and demonstrated mastery of his craft.
Sitting in the control room with him, he exudes creativity and positive energies. You do not feel ‘on the clock’ or like you’re purchasing a commodified product. Although we only spent a couple hours mixing, I could see how valuable Eric’s creative input would be in each phase of production. I wish I had.

Eric is a super talented engineer and a consummate professional. He has all the technical chops you could ask for in a producer or engineer, but more importantly, he really cares about capturing your band at its best.

In addition to being the coolest cat alive, Eric is über-​knowledgeable and has an arsenal of equipment that will make your knees quiver. I’ve recorded with him a few times in addition to sitting in on another session and it is impressive to watch him work. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of music and the recording process. Whatever genre you play, I can guarantee he will knock it out of the park. I really dig the setup and style of the place as well, right down to the Dreamcast and Battletoads.
