They don’t even have booths to sit in. There tables have dalmatian spots painted on them, and there sandwiches are shit, only reason this is getting two stars is because I got a free fireman’s hat

To get the Veteran’s day special you require showing an ID. What about the veterans that don’t get an ID?

Super friendly staff. Quick service. Though it’s a little pricey for a sandwich it’s pretty good stuff. subway sucks.

I stopped in here on my lunch break one evening. I’ve had Firehouse before but not in a long time. I ordered the meatball sub. The staff working was so friendly and nice. They were curious about me as they saw my work badge. All the employees seemed like fun people to work with. The food here is decent. I really like the meatball sub and how it’s seasoned and the cheese is consistently melted well across the top. The prices are OK. I think the regular is plenty of food. Firehouse is nothing grand in my opinion, but still a good solid option for lunch every once in awhile.

Always love firehouse and now they have a rewards program which is awesome. I really need to start trying more subs I’ve only gotten the club every time.

The food itself was good but staff here are grumpy. I tried to be sociable when placing my order and got a rather sarcastic, bitchy response from some thin guy who looked like a manager type. The cook just snarled at me when I picked up my order. I had never been to this place, being new to Austin after moving from NY. This place didn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I more than likely wont eat there again after the attitudes I received from their staff. It didn’t seem friendly and I wont eat in a place with a bad vibe to it. Its unfortunate for them, I happen to work in the same shopping center would have frequented them quite often.

Good selection, decent prices, and aside selection if you are counting calories. Give the tuna sub a tryout. The Sandwich with chips is quite good.

I saw a bunch of these chains down in Austin and decided to try them when I went to Costco. I wanted something light to eat because I had Mexican food that day. Inside you have a choice of healthy or really bad, but mouth watering subs. I saw the calories on the bad mouth water subs and decided to go with the 500 calorie choice. I probably would rate this a 5 stars if I got the bad for you subs like the beef brisket one. I got the chicken apple sandwich which was around 600 calories. I was bad I got their bbq sauce to put on there and it was great. Service was good as well. I enjoyed the meal, it was great :)

I enjoy this location very much. The sandwiches are always so delicious. I believe the men’s names are Justin and Connor, and they are very polite and professional men. They make for a lovely experience when I order from here. I believe the red-ish haired woman is one of the owners/managers, she is also very polite and caring with the customers. Highly recommended!

You’re greeted upon entering, the menu is big with pix. The employees are always friendly and know the food. I like to ask them what their fave is. Before you order, check in on the app and get a free kids meal! Kids eat free on Tuesday, 2 per adult meal. Oh and the sweet tea is yummy!

I’m giving them one star because the sandwiches are really good. One star is taken off because I paid for avocado and didn’t get it. The manager went out to buy some and never came back. Was I supposed to wait more than the 15 minutes that I was already there for him to finish my sandwich, which was sitting in front of me? No. Three stars are removed because he clearly had his own lunch(did he polish of the avocado at that time?) and forgot to brush his teeth. There was food all in them, not just one mishap. It was everywhere. I won’t go back, that was too gross. Personal hygiene! Just gross.

All I ever order from here is their meatball sub and yes it is pretty delicious. Well seasoned meatballs, stringy cheese and savory sauce sprinkled with Italian herbs. It comes out piping hot and it’s pretty huge, enough to make 2 meals out of it. The people working here are always friendly and the food comes out fast. I only wish this place could be a little cleaner. There’s quite a bit of food scraps all over the floor in the dining area. I don’t know if it was a cockroach or just a bug but we saw something black scurry across the floor one time while eating. Also the drink station could look a little less abused. They have that soda machine with the touch screen to customize your soda and the screen is pretty disgusting with grubby fingerprints and greasy smudge marks. Pretty gross using it especially when you’re going back to your table to eat with your hands.

I can’t say there is anything wrong with this place. The subs are simply delicious. I always order the Meatball Sub on Wheat with extra cheese and it has been great the few times I have gone. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. If you haven’t been there, I recommend checking it out!

Had the Hero and loved it. It’s very much a fast food sandwich place, not the deli style sandwiches that I love but for what it is it’s well above average. My only issue was the option of only two types of bread, but beyond that I was only impressed and not disappointed. Looking for a quick sandwich and sick of subway? Firehouse would be my first choice.

This location is on top of things. They’ve never messed up an order I’ve made. They know their sandwiches. They are very consistent. They are also friendly and seem to take some pride in the job. This location gets two thumbs up in my book. I needed to edit this review to add«very honest». They found my credit card on the floor and called me to return it. Wow!!! That is awesome! Thank you!!!

My husband and I came here for the first time today. We’d never been to a firehouse subs, but we always see the people along William Cannon dancing with the sign. We went in and didn’t really know what to order, but Andrew & Jackie had us covered! They told us all about the employee’s favorites. In the end, We ordered the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket Sub and the Firehouse Meatball Sub. My husband and I traded half our subs so we could try them both! They were both soo great! We’ll for sure be back! Thanks to Jackie and Andrew for excellent customer service! You guys rock! — And, thanks for the free cookies for our first visit! — Now I’m off to complete the guest survey at the bottom of my receipt! :)

Ok the kings hawaiian pork sandwich is back and it is a load! I was worried i was going to still be hungry but no way. Sandwich is creamy the pork us tender and love love the Hawaiian roll. Next time(and there will be a next time SOON) I will add some spicy bbq sauce to the pork and launch that big mofo into my belly! Go for the sandwich talk to the owner. She gets it. Make the customer happy with a sandwich they like. See you next time Firehouse.

I take my subs very seriously, and Firehouse is hands down my favorite place to go for a great sandwich. Their menu isn’t large, but does not lack in quality. The interior of the shop is very nice and clean, and the staff is always friendly and good at what they do. Like Torchy’s, this place is great for eating out with a group of friends. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy Firehouse Subs and have made it my standard as to what qualifies as a good sub shop.

I went here due to a ton of advertising and good word of mouth. When I walked in I was overly skeptical, mostly due to the staff. All of them were young and all I kept thinking were the horrors that are Subway, but I decided to stick with it. I am actually very happy I did. I got the Turkey, Ham, and Roast Beef and the lady picked up the Brisket and Cheddar. First off the service was surprisingly good and very friendly. The portions are huge, I guess that is from feeding fire fighters. I have not been able to get over how good the bread was. It is the perfect combination of Chewy and Crunchy. It set the tone for the entire sandwich. The toppings are bountiful and the veggies were fresh. The brisket and cheddar stole the show though, if all of the sandwiches are as good as this then this place will do well. I loved the variety of sauces along the bar to kick it up a notch. Also, if you ever need a bucket they have a charity that helps firefighters if you buy a pickle bucket for $ 2. I have to say the first trip was good, I will definitely come back again.
