Frenchie’s Auto and Appliance Repair

I hate that I have a bad review for this guy. I really liked him. But I’m the end, I’m pretty unhappy. I bought a drier from him that he refurbished. He said he went through the whole thing, pulled everything, checked everything, and it should be good to go for a long time. He talked *a lot* about how he wants to do the best job for people and treat them fairly. He also said he’d come pick up the old drier from my house for free… To dispose of it, it maybe for parts.
So…i get the dryer home and use it a couple times and it starts squeaking. Sounds like turkeys gobbling from other room. He called to make sure everything went OK. Nice, right? I tell him about the squeaking. He says he’ll look at it for free if I bring it back. Getting a drier out of the closet, through the house, down the stairs and up into the truck is an ordeal. I ask him if he can look at it at my house (maybe 4 miles away). He said he’d charge $ 38. I asked if he would discount that since he is coming for free to get the old drier. He said maybe $ 25. So he’ll fix it for free at his place, he’ll come to my place for free to get the old drier, but fixing it at my place, after I just bought it from him and it’s have issues immediately, that’s going to cost me. Ridiculous. We’ll see how long this drier lasts. I have low expectations.
I had to send a lot of business his way… Like a connection to Habitat for Humanity. It’s too bad he doesn’t stand by his work any better than that.
