Bad experience. Decided to visit before heading back to Houston and our food was cold and they jumped over our order. We waited for almost 45 mins. Employees busy talking instead of giving the appropriate customer service. Never going back.

I’m a man and proud of it too. I say that with pride and understanding that saying and living it don’t always combine with the greatest of ease. One of the ways I notice as I draw closer to my 40’s each year is when folks make an attempt to rectify something. You know back when you were a teen you’d forgive a lot faster. As an adult I notice often times(myself included) we keep things over people who messed over us or messed up in our eyes. I think it’s because we’re old enough to say screw it I don’t have to deal with that… True. I raised my review on this place by one star because the Manager Mr. Trevino actually reached out to me. I appreciate when people take a vested interest in something. Yes it obviously suits him to do because… it’s his job and only helps. However often people get so bogged down, trampled on and overlooked they do the human thing and stop caring. I’ll summarize the extent of our contact folks. Mr. Trevino reached out to me about my review and invited me to come to an event they’re having, I’d be fed, they’d be showing the operations, what it takes to open a place like that and future menu ideas. I think that’s big of him to do because when folks just offer a meal it’s like they want to make it go away. I respect that and how he went about it. It actually involves a patron rather than be standoffish and say well tuff, or here take this coupon and hope you come again. I won’t be able to attend, however I asked Mr. Trevino to donate my «meal» to a food pantry/bank or the homeless. He actually responded back and stated he’ll consider my request. He also divulged if I would like to contact him I have permission to do so. Folks that is good management and speaks a lot about him and the rapport he intends to establish with customers. He has my respect and I hope whomever gets the meal enjoys it. To that end my point is that Mr. Trevino acted like a real man and reached out that’s respect folks.

The flavor was good and thee burger was cooked well but my mushrooms and onions topping were undercooked and hardly seasoned. The burger made me burp for hours afterwards! For the price I would suggest somewhere else but it is certainly better than most fast food restaurants.

This is a blast back to my childhood! I remember back when my family and I would sit down at a Fuddruckers and indulge on their delicious buns with super crispy edges, large patties, and that extra special kids dessert at the end(can’t deny a kid his rice krispies!). Now, that was more than a decade ago. I wanted to come back and see how things have changed(no kids meal this time, sadly). Turns out, not much. This Fuddruckers is a small one. I came around 3pm so it was fairly empty, but I’m curious(scared) to see how packed it is during the lunch rush hour. I ordered the Swiss Melt because a swiss cheese, onion, and mushroom combo on a burger is one of the greats. Overall, the burger was good, although the mushrooms were a bit bland, and easily filled me up. The buns were the main reason why I enjoy eating at Fuddruckers as a kid, and I was delighted that they were just as addicting today. The price was a bit high for what I got. It puts their burger awkwardly in the«too expensive for a simple burger craving» and the«not unique or high-quality enough for a gourmet burger indulgence». My final rating is a 3.5, but with Austin being so burger-competitive, I need to be a bit more picky.

I have always liked Fuddruckers, and I really like this new location — my son, not so much(he says 2 stars), and my husband says he is «fine» with it(3.5 stars). I like that they have(good!) beef alternatives: veggie burgers, chicken, turkey, bison, salmon, and my favorite, elk(topped with bacon and sauteed mushrooms on romaine). And I love their seasoned sweet potato fries. I have two complaints: The first is about the inconsistency, which can be anywhere from just disappointing to super-frustrating. Sometimes medium-rare is medium rare, but too often it’s closer to medium-well, and then I never know if the fries are going to be soggy, nearly burnt, or just perfect. I keep telling myself that they are still fairly new and will get it all worked out, and we keep going back :-) The second is that there are very few tables inside, not enough if you go during lunch or dinner(making that a potentially frustrating experience also). It would be nice if they used the plastic sheeting(that so many other restaurants use) around the covered part of the patio area so it could be cooled and usable when it’s 105 outdoors.

This is the second time we have been to this store. And I have to say we are not impressed either time, and we will not be back to this store. The Only thing I can say good about this store is the young African American man cleaning the tables and floor was working his butt Off on cleaning the tables and floor when someone got up to leave. As we were leaving I let him know that as well! But I cannot say that about the rest of the people behind the counter. Alot of folks standing around and with other kids coming over from the Luby’s next door. If the management was present you sure couldn’t Tell. All of the condiments on the help yourself bar were just about empty, No cheese in either container and the yellow mustard was brown. To make a long story short, go to the Bee Caves store, much Better!

Customer service is HORRIBLE here. They claim this is where they train their employees and I am appalled. Waited for almost 40 min to receive my order of 2 meals While everyone that ordered after is getting their food first. Really? There are too many places for a simple hamburger meal to go so wrong. Never coming back and hope you all reading this will take note and don’t deal with the b.s. like I did.

Pretty good food and lots of options/varieties. I only give it a 4 star rating due to the prices being a little high for what you get, in my opinion. But I will say after reading the reviews I was a little worried that the service was going to be bad but the service was excellent. We were greeted promptly when we arrived and the staff was very friendly. We decided to eat outside cause it was such a nice day. Most people get ignored when they eat outside but one of the staff members named Desmond took awesome care of us. He was checking up on us constantly making sure we had everything we needed and made sure we had refills on our drinks. Thanks for the great service Desmond!

Most people go for the burgers– but I go to Fudd’s for the chicken tenders! Food is good– but I sure miss the S Lamar location. This one is TINY with no room to maneuver– and the food line is right on top of some tables. Worst of all is the noise– crazy loud. I like the food– but can’t wait to get out of there.

This one is close to where we live so we tried it because a friend insisted that it has amazing burgers. You end up spending about 10 $ each person for a mediocre chain restaurant grade burger and fries. dont waste your money.

Loved their food! Surprisingly delicious turkey burger. I’d have to say the employee working register wasn’t very helpful.

First time to this location. Selected this over the nearby Steak ‘n Shake based on Unilocal reviews. We weren’t disappointed in our choice as the food was very tasty and ingredients seemed very fresh. The server, where you order the food, was a bit blasé but eventually got the order right without too much repeating. It was a bit noisy with a lot of young children though not atypical of any other Fuddruckers we’ve been to. Overall a decent experience, close and convenient to us. We’ll be back.

So, this is the experience that I needed to finally write a Unilocal.I had high hopes when pulling in to the new Fuddrucker’s but all those hopes quickly vanished when my cashier neither acknowledged me or had the time to smile, say hello, or anything. Did it start to get better after that? NO, instead I got a cashier who could not remember a two item order from the«fav» list that I would assume is ordered often? Mind you this is a Wednesday after lunch and I was the ONLY person in line to order. So, after that horrible scene I try and find a table for the two of us and it is a rather inconvenient seating arrangement, i.e. to pick up your food you have to weave in and out of the tables. We find a booth and sit down and realize our shoes are now sticking to the floor! We then have to relocate and weave around some more tables and people. NOW to the actual food itself. My girlfriend ordered the first item on the menu«the ultimate bacon griled cheese» with onion rings and I ordered«the hangover» a burgrer that has bacon, cheddar and a fried egg. We get our food and the first thing we notice is that our onion rings are cold. I figured no problem they can drop a fresh batch. I tell the manager that the rings are cold and she disputes me «No, they cannot be they have just pulled those out of the fryer.» I told her just touch them and see for yourself but she refused and reluctantly offered fresh onion rings. We eat our sandwiches and just as we are about done the rings finally come back out. These are set on the table, without smile and a comment about the hot rings that came across snide abd overall rude. Eager to finally get hot onions rings we both grab one up and watch each others faces turn sour. There was no seasoning on any of the rings it was nothing but plain bland, bread with thin slice of onions. Even if they were finally hot, they were the worst onion rings I have ever had. So, we ate our entire meal and waited for another mess up. Seriously how do you mess up onion rings TWICE? We are talking about a burger place that cannot make onion rings in two tries. I know that I am going on about the rings, but they really would have made the meal better and although our first batch was cold they still tasted better than our hot unseasoned abomination rings! So in summation: MEH at best. Seriously, you can get better food and service at WHATABURGER!

I never liked Fuddruckers as a kid. My older sister did which meant I had to go there more than I would have liked. I think they only really had burgers on their menu then and I didn’t like the whole process of picking out your meat or whatever and I didn’t like the way their meat tasted. Turns out, I still don’t like their burgers. Didn’t they used to be hand-formed? The one had today tasted like it came off an assembly line that also makes the burgers for elementary school cafeterias. And it had tons of those hard clear cartilage bits in it. So much ew. Ewwww… Why a four star rating? I’ve been to this new location several times for their grilled chicken salad. Today was my first burger-stake and it will not happen again. Maybe they should give up on the burgers and just do grilled chicken dishes? I’m a low-carber so grilled protein salad is a go-to meal when dining out. Fudd’s is huge, the greens are crisp and fresh, there’s tons of cheese, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, and you can add avocado for a $ 1. Plus the ranch is really good, it tastes homemade. And the couple croutons I have snuck are darn tasty. I wouldn’t recommend actually eating here. The cramped layout and clientele leave much to be desired, unless you want to see a live enactment of People of Wal-Mart & Their Young Eating in a Red and White Hallway. As other reviews have said, the size and layout is very poor. It’s unfortunate since some of the design elements are pretty slick and they have one of those new-fangled soda fountains, a nice fixins’ bar, and a whole counter with all kinds of artery-clogging smothering sauces. I phone in my orders to-go. No muss, no fuss. I might try some of their other options someday – like the Shrimp Po’ Boy or Buffalo Wings – but for the Grilled Chicken Salads, it very solid.

I’m giving this Fuddrucker’s 5 stars for cleanliness & concept. This company creates excellent burgers and they have the best buns, but this particular location should test what some of the other fast growing burger places are doing with faster service and more staff. PTerry and Mighty Fine make a less satisfying product but the service is generally faster or it seems faster with all the helpers they have. I commend Fuddruckers on this new express style concept and hope they increase customer service so that they can continue to serve their awesome burgers.

No one knows what’s in the patty melt sauce? Management didn’t train well enough obviously. 5.09 for a burger cost me $ 10+? Poor price disclosure. It has an open cooking line… With four people standing there… Not doing anything… Talking with each other… Meanwhile the soda machine isn’t working right!!! Did they forget to hire a manager? Whoever owns this place is loosing money due to their staff. Whoever is at the register has to smile and have an up beat attitude. That’s the face if your business and she wears a frown. It is the best burger in the south park meadows area, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back any time soon. Too many good places within a five minute drive.

This is the single worst Fuddruckers I’ve ever been to. It’s cramped… I felt like I was eating in a hallway. I literally couldn’t get to the food pick up area and back to my table without having to push trough the line of people waiting to order. The side offerings, always my favorite part of the experience, are now regulated to a tiny counter that reminds me of a movie theater ketchup and mustard nook. No more awesome cookie stands, plentiful seating, or comfortable sports viewing. All gone and squeezed into what feels like an afterthought attached to a Luby’s of all things. The food was okay, but the burgers tasted off from my previous visits to Fuddruckers establishments. Dry and a bit flavorless. What a depressing version of one of my favorite burger places. I had high hopes as it’s just down the street from me, but I won’t be going again.

Fuddruckers is just going downhill for me. It used to be my go to burger place in Missouri. Then they got rid of venison. Strike one. Ostrich also disappeared from the menu. Strike two. Unfortunately I’ve hit strike three with this fuddruckers here in Austin. I got the Kobe burger and asked for it medium rare. It was well done and very difficult to eat.

First time here — way too small unfortunately :/the food was good even tho the cashier forgot to ask how we wanted our burger cooked. The whole experience was pretty stressful due to no space — and where we sat there was always about 6 ppl surrounding us. Go on good weather days when you don’t mind sitting on the patio.
