Goodlife Food Park

I always appreciate a consolidated group of food trucks for quick tasty food and the ability to make extreme last minute decisions about what to eat.
It seems like your typical day will provide a few more options than when I was here last week as there were only two (albeit tasty) options. I opted for Fishey Bizness which I had never tried, and was not disappointed at all. La BBQ was also there, but sold out of most items as it was a later lunch. I can’t say I’ll ever be back to Hey Cupcake, but I look forward to trying out Korean Komfort and The frozen yogurt spot.
The location is very convenient to downtown and the neighborhood seemed to have enough parking a block or two away which was nice.

If I were to give this a hipster rating it would be #HipsterDivetacular.
There are a couple reasons why I give this a 3, and it does not have anything to do with the food!
Location: Location Location Location. This place has a pretty decent location but its all janky to try and get to this place. The parking is usually pretty terrible too, esp. I think its here just because a bunch of drunk people wonder over here on late nights or something. It was not the easiest to find and its kinda back behind some stuff. When I got there I thought I was entering into the back of a dumpster, but it all turned out ok.
Ambience: If there was every a term called #DivePicnic this would be it. The picnic tables are abundant here but the tables are falling apart and crooked. I think I sat and eat my BBQ on a slant. There are some umbrellas around but quite a few gnats and flys buzzing around as well. The place does not look very well upkept. I think its probably held together my multiple layers of paint on the tables. However the smell was quite delicious because of the BBQ cooking.
All an all, I will go again, but its not my favorite place.

Fishey Bizness — grilled fish tacos. Delicious. Owner is on site and the hush puppies are the bomb. Great shade. Well done.

This location is walkable from my office, the food is great and there is even a parking area on the west side of property. Add la barbeque… I’m going to be spending many a lunch hour here.

Came here twice in 3 days and I love it. The shade is nice and something tells me this spot is gonna boom quickly. The food trucks that are there now are awesome and I can’t wait for the new additions.
