This is one sorry excuse for a store and a company. Where else can you call to reserve a ham and they say well ask for a size 3 ok do want my name? No just ask for the size you want. How will I know you won’t run out? Well they are going very fast so they may not be available. Are these clowns for real? Seriously? This is a way to run a business. Oh and try to call their headquarters in Troy, Mi. The number on the web site answers and tells you the number changes and gives you another number to call. Call that number and select customer service and when it comes to talk to one of their specialists they NEVER answer. Like 45 minutes and I finally hung up. I called and got their operator and asked for customer service and the person she switched me to says they don’t take complaints or customer comments over the phone, go to their web site. Then guess what you can’t leave a comment!!! n They make you join something and they send you to a totally different place and you cannot get back to the place where you can enter a comment about their sterling service. How this company stays in business is beyond me. When I did find the comment site before I got all tangled up with joining their club and etc. you should read some of the horror stories people have related. Ham’s ordered for Easter delivered the Monday AFTER Easter. One miserable story after another. It is just unbelievable that this kind of thing happens and people don’t just quit buying from them. What a terrible place.

Terrible. I ordered a ham sandwich to go and when I opened it there was no ham! Just bread, lettuce & cheese. How do you forget the ham?

I think when you visit this place you should expect a few things. If it is a holiday there will be a wait. There will be many happy workers to help you pick your holiday selections. It will be expensive, let’s be really this stuff costs more then HEB. At the same time it tasted much better then HEB. You can count on them year to year to give you a quality product. Those who do not plan do not save money in this place. Girl… You better get your Honey Baked Ham gift cards from Costco and then seek out one of those coupons for this place. I purchased a 100 gift card at Costco for 79.00 bucks and then a very nice man gave me a 7 dollar coupon at the store. Seriously if you got to have Honey Baked Ham for the holidays this is how you do it!

I discovered honey baked ham lunch deli when living at Fort bragg, and it is one of the best kept secrets around. Their lunch box menu is one of the best deals in town, featuring sandwiches built with their famous honey baked ham and Turkey. The service is always great, and it is never crowded because no one knows about it.

This place never disappoints me and is always consistent in quality. The service can be hit or miss, but I don’t need someone to bow down to me while I pick up a few sides and a half ham once a year. Iy can be a little pricey, but well worth it. All in all, a family favorite holiday meal.

I came here on a Friday in January 2014 to pick up an order for a work party. We called a few days in advance to order 3 bags of the boneless bbq pulled pork and 2 smoked turkey breast. I had no problems with getting my order. When I walked in, the worker already had the biggest pulled porks she could find set aside for me. I picked out my own turkey breast, paid and had no problems. The two workers there were very nice. They helped my decide if I had enough food for my work party. The instructions on the package stated clearly how to serve the meat and everyone at the party loved the food. It was devoured. While I was there, I ordered two ham classic sandwiches to go. It was awesome. I actually don’t like ham, cooked or cold, but I will make an exception for honey baked ham sandwich made at their store. If you want a honey baked ham, I suggest going after the holidays to buy one, no lines, no angry ppl, just easy and good. The boneless bbq pulled pork was awesome. Since I was short on time, I heated mine in the microwave and them place it in a crockpot on warm and had to pull it apart myself. After sitting in the crockpot for hours, it did start to dry out, but that’s to be expected, it was still good. The smoked turkey breast is supposed to be served cold. It was already sliced up for me. That was a big hit at the party, everyone thought it was ham. If you’ve ever had a smoked turkey, it does taste like ham, just FYI. I would recommend both item and the ham as well.

Just picked up my ham! Thought I was gonna miss the crowd by going a day early… NOT lol. Oh well one area location and tons of folks that love it. I was in like 40+ minutes but won’t be doing a turkey this year so I feel I’m still coming out ahread time wise. I needed one of their smaller bone in hams which did seem to be a bit of a challenge for them. I was looking for something around 8 lbs which took them a while to find. Overall I’m happy and can’t wait to eat!

The long line out the door was expected. That’s not what turned me off. The honey-glazed ham was mouth-watering and sweet, and the turkey was delicious. That’s also not what turned me off. What really turned me off was that after ten minutes in the simmering heat and ten more minutes in the line inside that snaked its way to the counters, we were not greeted. No smile, no friendly word. The ladies that worked the counters did not have any Easter-weekend cheer. On top of that, the lady that got the turkey and put it in a box did not shut the box all the way, so that when we removed the box from the bag, turkey glaze was leaking everywhere. We definitely could have done without the lack of friendly greeting and the inattention paid to sealing the box of turkey. Obviously, the food is worth the wait. The service could use an upgrade, though.

More often than not North Austin picks for dining often remind one of stale backwash of downtown, Hyde Park, and South Congress, and I regret it almost every day that I don’t live around there anymore, but we are talking sandwiches not sorrows. Specifically, Burnet Road and 183 just do not have much to offer in terms of food choices, and I am notoriously bad at forgetting my lunch in the morning, so here we are. Where were we? Oh right, sandwiches. Yes, this place is pretty awesome, and I hope it doesn’t close like the Blackeyed Pea. Top picks — croissant with chicken salad or the turkey bacon ranch. You really can’t go wrong with bacon. The price is right, $ 6 – 7. Usually, the items can easily be cut in half and made into to two meals, so even more value for you! The customer service is friendly. Have yet to try the dinner items such as green bean casserole or macoroni, but I bet they are deelish. Not so sure about $ 9 cupcake mix, though.

We used a gift certificate we had for a full two years for our holiday dinner. Despite a full parking lot, pouring rain and a huge mob there to pick up food, we were in an out in 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and quite efficient about helping you get sides and your meat, pay and get out the door. For $ 50, we left with enough food to easily feed six people. All the sides were delicious. The green bean casserole had nice firm beans and a good flavor. The dressing, gravy, cinnamon apples and garlic mashed potatoes were all a hit. The only thing we did not buy there were rolls. I would do it again… tasted great and beats spending two days in the kitchen. It was also budget friendly given how much food they sent us home with.

DONOTGOHERE the day before Thanksgiving! Granted the ham was good and that is why it didn’t get just one star but my mother had to wait for over 2 hours standing in line to pick up our Thanksgiving ham. She got there at 9:00 am and even then, the line to pick up the ham wrapped around the shopping center. This place has been in business for awhile and so you would think they would have thought of a better solution for people to pick up their hams without having to wait so long in line. This is the first and last time we will be ordering a ham from this company for Thanksgiving although I have contemplated buying 20 hams from them next year and then once I pick up my hams, I would sell them for twice the price to the poor suckers still standing in line. I know for sure I would have buyers since several of the people standing in line with my mom just ended up leaving and not picking up their ham since they were so tired of standing in line. So for all you entrepreneurs out there, if you have the patience to get your hams, try selling the hams to the poor peeps frustrated as they stand in line for their honey baked ham. They will easily open up their pocketbooks to you so they don’t have to wait any longer. Easy money right before the great sales on Black Friday too!

This place is really frightening. I used to live in Florida and the Honeybaked Ham there was equally as frightening. Fluorescent lights humming quietly… hardly anyone ever inside… the smell of meat slicing machine cleaning fluid… eerie décor… I accrued over $ 150 worth of gift cards here while working at my old company… and it’s taken me nearly 3 years to use about $ 10 worth. I got a sandwich the other day, and it was totally flavorless. And the gift cards will never expire. I’m not sure what to do.
