Janet was a life saver. I’m new to the area and I live in an assisted living complex and went on line and found out that she was willing to come cut my hair at my complex. I would have had to pay for a taxi, and with my wheelchair, that would have been difficult. But she agreed to come to my location, and I agreed to pay a little more for the convenience. I got a great haircut.

When I moved to Austin in September/​2012 I needed a good hair stylist. I had the same person back in Tucson, Az for 8 years and was very nervous. As luck would have it, I came upon Janet. She’s experienced, professional, and reliable — She listens to what I want with my hair and does an excellent job every time. WHEW, sooooo glad I found her!

I needed a haircut on a very busy errand day. I looked Janet up on Unilocal,read her reviews and called another well known haircutting place, thinking I could get in sooner. They were indifferent on the phone, told me they didn’t take appointments, I had to come in and wait in line and that the current wait time is 30 – 45 minutes. Seriously.
So I called Janet, she had one opening left for the day. I showed up and she cut my hair in about 45 minutes (I have very long hair) and gave me the first time customer’s discount — without me asking for it. We had lovely curls that day that I admired and she invited me back so she could show me how to put them in myself.
She emailed me my receipt and even took some business cards to send me referrals for my own business. I was THOROUGHLY impressed with her full service.
She doesn’t look it, but she’s been cutting hair for 25 years and her skills show.
