Deep dish turbo crust well done for the win! Absolutely love this place. We’re about to move out of Austin so we’ve literally been ordering once a week. We call and order for pickup; it’s always quick. We’ll miss Jet’s :’(

let me start off by saying im not one to jump online and leave a review… but… i felt that this time its more than appropriate… ive ordered from this location in the past and have given multiple opportunities… most of which ended negatively … my most recent experience was a complete game changer… was told the business was under new ownership… after i had made the comment of how the inside looked different… two registers now!!! makes picking up my order so much more convenient… i asked to speak with the owner or a manager to compliment them on the vast improvement… the owner (John) greeted me with a handshake making me feel like i was an old friend… we chatted for a few minutes about the changes made… was mind altered on the spot… this place has flipped a 180… see for yourself… thank you John for turning this establishment around and making me actually want to return with arms wide open not dread the experience! kudos!

The best deep dish for the price (in South Austin)! Their online ordering system is easy to use. They are always on time when you place an order for a future time. I wouldn’t recommend doing anything other than a to go order as their indoor accommodations are smaller than most (just a few round tops that seat 2 people each). Overall we’re always happy with our pizza and the service at Jet’s.

Jet’s was our favourite pizza back home. So I was giddy when this one opened so close to me.
I’m not a deep-​dish fan typically. But the «other» is. So lately we’ve been ordering the 8 piece where each piece has a corner. How clever! That means each piece is crispy and doesn’t have the mushy-​wetness in the centre of the dough.
They also have some pretty good salads, which I like to pair with the pizza so I feel
less guilty about the cheesy goodness.
Delivery is 45 – 60 minutes which I find to be standard for my area irrespective of who I order from.
Give it a try! I usually can find a Groupon for them too!

You know Jets, I owe you an apology. Your lackluster pizza (although awesome when inebriated) has been significantly elevated. Why you ask? Well, little Jet, sit here on my knee and I will explain. You see, when someone makes pizza and attaches it to a locale (eg. New York, Detroit, Neopolitan …) you are immediately attached (or doomed) to that standard.
Jets, your Detroit style Pizza is a 1 – 2 (out of 5) when compared to Via 313. However, as a fast food takeout you are a solid 2.5 (out of 5). Now the revelation!
I just experienced Yaghi’s pizza at MoPac and Wm. Cannon across from P Terry’s. Wow! U guys are a 10 compared to their 0 (on a 1−5scale).
Jets, bad quality competitors are your best friends. Keep up your mediocrity, it’s better than the competition.

This has become one of our favorite pizzas I town. We now are regulars here because of the great service and the 8 corners pizza. The turbo crust really makes it. It’s great having a Detroit style pizza place in town.

I drove 25miles to here. Got here 45min before closing and the door was locked. Wasted my gas. Call ahead before coming

Just got back from NYC and I could not wait to get a couple of slices of the best pizza I ever had. John and his crew are great!

This is the local pizza joint we frequent when we just want to stay in and get a pizza. The deep dish is great. Love the bold pepperoni. Great crust. Great place.

This is the pizza of your childhood. Remember that free pan pizza you’d get in elementary school for reading ten books (or was it 20… hell, maybe it was just 5)? Remember the buttery crust? Toasted at the edges, chewy in the right spots. Remember the cheese, and the way it would stretch out to an impossible white thread from your face to the table? This is that pizza.
But you’re an adult now and have to pay for it.
Start with a small square deep dish, one topping. Get a garlic crust. Well done if you like. I think I mentioned you’re an adult, now — so pair it with a tallboy from next door. The Greek salad ain’t half bad either. If we meet in public and you wanna shake my hand afterwards, that’d be fine, too.

Hot, Fast, and Crunchy! Not only was the pizza awesome but the customer service was even better! Immediately upon entering, I was greeted with a smile. I was asked if I had been there before and I replied that this was my first time. He immediately started making recommendations and even went as far as allowing me to try a piece before ordering. This was an amazing experience and I will be recommending this pizza, and especially this location, to everyone I know. Thanks again Jet’s!

What the hell! Not one thing has changed at trying to serve their customers faster. If you order on line or you call in, you are still in the line with people placing orders at the counter. Your pizza is sitting in a warmer, while you’re waiting for some chuckle head to decide if he wants pepperoni or sausage.
The pizza is still excellent, but I will never darken your doorstep again. I’m going to settle for delivery and not have to fight it out in the store!

This place is awesome! Not sure why their ratings are so mediocre because the Detroit style pizza is worth 5 stars easy. My first time eating with Jets was a delivery and they were very close to closing but they took my order anyway and delivered it in good time. The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. No cutting corners even on their last order. I waited to eat it a second time before giving them a good review just in case that wasn’t the norm. My second order was carry out of the Jet 10. Even with 10 toppings they still managed to get the exterior crust perfectly crispy. I’ve never had deep dish pizza before Jets but I am told it’s not like the normal deep dish. Great food and the service is been very helpful and personalized not like a typical chain. Get the Super Special or Jet 10 and the cinnamon sticks.

I am a former resident of Detroit who now lives in California. Unfortunately, there are no Jets Pizza’s there BUT I had to travel to Austin for work and I made my coworkers drive me 15 miles and insisted they had to try this pizza. John the owner took our order and we chatted about how I insisted my friends try the Detroit style square and he assured it would be a perfect pie… and it was!
Thank you so much, John! To me, it’s not just pizza, it’s home! I really enjoyed it! Perfect amount of sauce and cheese and caramelization on the crust!
Get a large square and tell your friends about this place!

This is awesome delivery pizza. If you like Detroit style, get their pizza. Super delicious crust!

It’s a good little pizza joint for the ’45. Fun staff, pocket friendly prices, quick hot tasty pizza! Delivery is fast and always ahead of the schedule.

Not too bad for a jalapeño, mushrooms, and pepperoni pizza. Got $ 20 worth of food for $ 10 via Groupon! Staff is friendly, I would not recommend dining in there is really not that much room.

Hungry — don’t waste your money.
FAST tasting FOOD — disappointed with Jet’s Pizza pan pizza/​3 toppings.
C H E E S Y — NO PUN INTENDED — Greasy + for the Lack of toppings, say that were gently «Sprinkled».
Oha, Greek Salad is FULL of iceberg lettuce, dressing regular ol bottled up tastes.
Had to try this newly Jet’s Pizza South Austin.
I would recommend ELSEWHERE to choose from and for the price too!

Honestly some of the best pizza you can get delivered in S. Austin. Super friendly staff! Great variety on the menu. If you’re carrying out you can see how clean they keep it in there. That’s one of the first things I notice when walking in any restaurant with an open kitchen.
Detroit style deep dish is phenomenal when done right and they do it right. We got the Super Special, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Talked to the manager, John, and he explained their dough process for both flat and deep pies. You can tell they are passionate about their dough! Which is great because that’s the foundation of any good pie, right?
If you’re looking for a good neighborhood go-​to pizza joint then this might just be your spot. Looking forward to exploring the menu a little more and getting creative with toppings and half/​half pies.

Great pizza, very sub par service. I ordered a pizza they ended up leaving off pepperoni and when I called to see what they could do to fix the situation they wanted me to bring in the pizza to identify the mistake. My word was not good enough and the wait was 30 mins to get the pizza I ordered originally. I spoke with two separate people and they swore up and down the pizza was boxed the way the receipt read. My eyes are not broken and the tone from the manager was not one that I would wish to do further business with. Very unfortunate because the pies are pretty decent and the location is near me, but this is an experience I will have to consider worth having on my future pizza endeavors.
