Joey recently renovated a 50 year old purse and wallet that my brother-​in-​law made on a sub during the war. He did a spectacular job on both of them for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately I get so many compliments on the purse I can’t come up with an excuse to have him make me a brand new one of his design.

Joey is a multitalented artist — not only does he paint but he turns out amazing leather works of art (including belts, camera cases, books, etc.). He works on commission although you might check out his work at one of the gallery shows in which he participates.
He recently finished a beautiful, bespoke tooled leather roll for my assortment of bookbinding tools. It’s something that I totally love. Best way to contact Joey is through his website. He works out of his house in South Austin (no storefront). Highly recommended.
