Kimberly’s Kake Designs made a birthday cake for my husband. Not only did the friends love the Cherry Cola Chocolate cake, but the staff at the Saltgrass loved it to. Said it was the best cake they have tasted while working there. The cake was divide to go home with different people because everyone wanted some(not so usual for a birthday cake). The frost was very light, very chocolate, and the cherry’s just made the flavor burst. Kim’s been in the business for over 10 years, and continues to amaze me with her talent.

We had cake today at Alfred Angelo… The following are things I liked about Kimberley’s Kake Desgins… 1. The display was amazing. The colors were so romantic and matched the theme of the dresses in the store Fairy Tale Wedding. It was a beautiful mint color with iridescent green flowers on one tier and the others were a beautiful pearl color with the most unique design… pleats and folds I thought could only exist in vintage clothing. This cake was outstanding. 2. The icing on the Champagne Bellini cake was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. It was light and the sugar didn’t linger on the tongue. It was the smoothest icing and the most delicious. I told my friend, the bride, that I would consider gaining 500lbs if I could eat that everyday. :) 3. My friend loved the orange colored cake that was also layered into a pink color. Very intricate design. 4. I saw a dinosaur that was an actual form of a dinosaur that I’ll probably be buying for my son’s first birthday party. Cool alternative designs too. 5. Kim was really nice and pleasant to talk to. It’s always nice when designers have good words with their customers.
