Decent iced coffee is always appreciated. Good lighting, good seating, plugs, internet, bomb(and stylish) barista. No complaints, save one: I stopped to edit the final draft of my comedic novel about atrocious parking scenarios, and after driving around the circuitous network of spots you’re not allowed to park in, I stopped in front of the dumpster, smashed my computer, and threw it away. Whatever tragic, humorous, or simply objective insight or commentary one may have about anything parking related is simply meaningless when confronted by the trauma induced by this miraculous failure of urban development. In fact, if you’ve ever been tempted to dabble with masochism, here’s your chance. Swing by, but bring your sense of humor.(Speaking only of the lot): You’ll undoubtedly enjoy a patience destroying, road-rage inducing joke. If you ride your bike though, you’ll enjoy an above average vibe with above average beverage options, as long as you don’t get hit by a yuppie and/or the valet-for-all-the-yuppies in the parking lot.

Out of the 45+ coffee houses that I have been to across Texas, this one easily slides into my first choice. Lola is the kind of place that has something for everyone to do. There’s board games for kids(or those who are kids at heart), a wine bar– featuring both great wine and beer options, great food from their partnering restaurant that’s connected, and of course– incredible coffee. I have been there over a dozen times and am almost always beyond satisfied with the service(incredibly friendly staff), and the creative drinks that they make(recently tried a cubano Nutella mocha that was absolutely delightful!) My go-to drink when I go is a cubano vanilla cappuccino and the chicken parm pizza is finger-lickin’ good. If you love great coffee, food, and a lively atmosphere, this is the place for you!

The lovely little sister /neighbour /section of one one my favourite places. A full grove menu plus comfy chairs and electrical outlets to work from = me actively considering giving up paying for office space and just moving in here… A cosier, coffee shop style tag on — with pastries and decent tea as well as wine from the Groves excellent section. A bit sad it has it taken me two years to find This place. I’m never going to Starbucks again!

While waiting for my phone to be repaired a few doors away, I stopped at Lola Savannah Coffee Lounge and Wine Bar. What a lovely place! Talented Baristas making espresso drinks, fantastic desserts, respectable wine selection, and the baseball game is on! What could be better than to be in a place with such a cool vibe and great music! If I lived in Austin, I would be here often!

Great coffee, good pastries. I especially like the Java Estate, very smooth and well balanced. You can never go wrong with a Cortado, A popular spot for business meetings. Every time I visit meet a friend or a former colleague. the only downside is that parking can be a challenge

I came here with the kids and they wanted a cupcake(of course). It was so stale that we ended up throwing half of it away. My bagel was also not very tasty. My iced coffee was good, though, so the drinks might be alright but I’m not impressed with the food.

Have dessert. Have multiple desserts. Wow. I made myself sick because I wouldn’t stop eating them… the flavors were fantastic and the presentation was also just superb. I should have taken pictures but the folks I were with dived in the moment the things hit the table. They had been before so now I know why they were like sharks on blood… just amazing desserts. And the coffee? Also great. Smooth flavors and exceptionally well prepared. And not in small, diner-size coffee cups but in real, full-size coffee cups. And fantastic service. The folks there were very pleasant. Turns out we stayed well past closing time because we were talking so much and didn’t pay attention at all. The staff there didn’t chase us off at all.(Sorry we made you all stay late!). What a great joint. Have dessert.

Excellent coffee, perhaps my favorite. Food is good, mostly brought in from other vendors(breakfast tacos) or instant(Oatmeal) but good selection. Atmosphere is great.

This is one of my favorite places for coffee and breakfast! For coffee: I have tried a couple different types of things on their menu and even had some of their teas and I have liked everything. It is such an easy place to stop by in the morning before work, and its miles better than starbucks. For breakfast: I love their breakfast tacos, they are by far the best in the bee cave/lakeway area, in my opinion. I have also had their cream cheese danish which was good, on par with starbucks danish. If I wasn’t always in a hurry I would love this place even more(is that possible?) because of their fabulous view, it amazing!

Cool staff and easy parking on a weekday morning. There was lots of seating and a plentiful condiment counter(cinnamon, cream, milk, honey, etc). I enjoyed the oatmeal(several different flavors). Oatmeal is instant, but quality brand name. The staff will warm it up for you and serve it in a bowl. Bagel was good, toasted and came with cream cheese. The black coffee was rich and comforting! Visit and relax!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves one! This is probably the best code place I’ve ever been to. The latte I order was outstanding! The atmosphere was welcoming for families and professionals. The wifi was fast for me, the customer service was beyond friendly but inviting. I don’t live anywhere near here but I will definitely be coming back!

If you have time to sit & enjoy a great latte or Americano then this is the place for you. Set up a early morning, late morning, pre/post lunch meet or just hang out social networking. Great alternative to a lot of the other coffee shops in town. Also offer almond milk lattes.

Lola Savannah coffee & wine lounge manages to maintain a relaxed atmosphere even with the upscale modern interior design. I personally love the touch of the coffee bean bags hanging from the ceiling. The coffee beans are roasted and shipped from Lola Savannah coffee company out of Houston, TX. The staff here I found to be friendly, informative, super helpful, and pride themselves in quality coffee and coffee art. I got to check out their skills with other patrons drinks, but missed out on an artistic cup as I opted to try some of their lovely cold brew. The WiFi connection was good as well. They have a nice selection of baked goods, and are one of the few places in town to offer a good variety of tasty gluten free goodies(even unwrapped!!). The majority of their gluten free items are sourced from Blackbird Bakery who also makes the YUMMMMMY burger buns for King & Country. I have not had one bad thing yet from Blackbird, it’s easy to imagine that your eating the real thing. They serve up some breakfast tacos in the AM which I haven’t yet had a chance to try, but I hear are good, they also have a limited menu featuring items from the next door sister restaurant, «Grove». I will definitely be coming here on bad weather Sunday’s to enjoy some Java and food while tinkering around on my Surface.

A haiku to sum up my run-in with Lola Savannah: Woah, is this a lounge? Mocha and muffin om nom! Burlap sacks above. Seriously, y’all– burlap sacks on the ceiling. Go see it for yoself!

Hey-o! Love this little place. I’ve met some of my students over here for advising appointments, and they’ve hit the mark each time(the students and the folks at Lola!). I haven’t had any of their food items yet, but they have plenty of Pellegrino and lots of espresso, so I’m a happy camper. Need a cappuccino but don’t want lactose? They’ve got you covered with soy, almond, and coconut milks. Lots of seating space, fast wifi, and friendly folks. The parking blows, but I guess you can’t have everything.

I came here with my father and my 8 month old daughter. We ordered 2 coffees and a muffin. We then fed my EIGHTMONTHOLD food we had brought for her. The gentleman and lady behind the counter then told me I could not give her any outside food. The reason given: it’s a law. Really, Lola’s? Why is it that the other 12 restaurants I’ve served her separate food in on this trip didn’t seem concerned about this law? I normally only write positive reviews(see my others), but when you mess with my baby, my inner tigress comes out in full force. They suggested I feed my daughter eggs(not allowed until over a year) and foods with honey in them(ever heard of botulism?). I decided to nurse my baby to keep her happy(hungry baby doesn’t make for a relaxing experience for anyone), and the man behind the counter gave me the stank eye the whole time. I also broke down and bought her plain yogurt there which she didn’t like or eat since they couldn’t accommodate making her any egg or honey free options. Bottom line, if you have young children and value them being happy, this may not be the place for you. * I must say that the manager, Katy, was not present at the time. We waited for her to arrive and when I shared my concern, she seemed genuinely surprised and relatively apologetic(despite a few comments about her needing to «back her staff»). For this mama, it was still too little, too late.
