So disappointing. Jalapeño cheese sirloin steak was so tough, when I brought it home to give to the dogs I literally couldn’t tear it apart with my hands — it was cooked medium rare. Hubby’s chicken fried steak was tough as well and it tasted like it was fried in old dirty oil. Mashed taters were good, broccoli was good but that made for a very expensive vegetarian meal. STEAK is in their name, that is the ONE thing they should get right. Server was very nice, offered to get manager but we opted to just cut our losses. our dogs ate better than we did tonight. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

LongHorn Steakhouse in Southpark Meadows is a good as it gets! We have always had a great meal here and this week was just as stellar! From the service to the food, everything was great! I had lobster with my steak, and it did not disappoint at all! On top of that, it’s a great place to have a quiet meal! We will always be back!

Hubby and I had a late lunch after shopping for a new car. Due to time of day, not overly busy. Service was prompt and after bringing our drinks, we were greeted with half a loaf of bread and butter. Ordered the ribeye M and it was grilled to perfection, might have used a little seasoning. The loaded baked potato was disappointing. Not only cold but not done. Server was adequate. She did her job but was not overly friendly or enthusiastic… would recommend.

One of our favorites when my friends and I get together for lunch. Great service and good choices for a lunch menu. Prices are reasonable, good food and wonderful atmosphere.

Very attentive server. Wait times on drinks apps and entrees did not ytake long 6 min drinks, 8 min app and 12 min entrée
My steak was a lil more med then i like but all was great.

One of my favorite chains in America. Reasonably priced, good quality steak — my idea of heaven.
I had a delicious ribeye which was succulent, juicy and delicious with a loaded baked potato on the side. A nice large pour of the house pinot washed it down perfectly.
I will be a regular at my local Longhorn steakhouses for sure and I look forward to going back and trying the Steak Frites for $ 14 — can’t argue with that!

I have dined here many times and usually sit at the bar because I am by myself. Last night 11÷6÷2015 had the worst service ever. I was choking and asked bartender for a glass of water and she said OK, but went on with what she wanted to do and ignored me. Finally another bartender came along and since I was still choking she gave me a glass of water when I asked.

I’ve been here two or three times for family gatherings. The staff is friendly and the steaks are wonderful. The cocktails aren’t amazing so I would say stick to beer or tea. We’ve never had to wait to be seated and the one time when my steak was undercooked they fixed it right away.

This was our first time at Longhorn. We chose it for the convenient location to meet a friend from the San Antonio area. We were there for lunch. I had a $ 9 combo with a Caesar Salad and the half Shaved Prime Rib sandwich. My wife had the $ 8 combo with Grilled Chicken & Strawberry salad and the French Onion soup. We were both very pleased with the size and taste of our combos. Our friend had a Caesar Salad with Chicken that was too large to finish. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, good service and good food. Note that none of us got a steak. Maybe that explains the difference between our review and other reviews.

This was my first time at this steakhouse it has a nice atmosphere. The food is decent, I recommend the pretzel sticks & the Pinot noir from Columbia valley.

If a half inch thick filet mignon and chicken fried steak tough as a boot sole appeal to you then this is the place. Worst. Meal. Ever. Complete waste of money.

I used to love Longhorns. I grew up eating Longhorns. Recently, I seen a Longhorn’s commercial and looked it up to see the closest. The closest is in Austin, so we made the trip. I was surely disappointed. I could’ve ate something worthwhile in Austin. My steak was lacking in flavor and on the dry side. The waitress kind of huffed and puffed when I asked for A1 sauce. Service was slow and had to flag her down to get our drinks refilled.
Not the place it used to be, but what chain is anymore?

This place is near to my house but I would drive farther for their Napa grilled chicken. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the service is awesome. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten there. They serve fresh hot bread too. Yummy!

Was quite impressed with this being my first time here. My family each got a different steak. I had the Filet cooked medium with cheese and bacon, and my side was the roasted corn. I was extremely satisfied. My mother in law had the ribeye well done and it was surprisingly juicy and tender after being well done!
My wife had the sirloin and it was the lesser meat. Still juicy but tough. (Keep in mind, the sirloin is a bottom cut when compared to porterhouse, ribeye or filet. But all was extremely palatable. I had the Montana Mule drink, added 3lime squeezes it was downright perfect! Especially since it reached 90+ Saturday. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and will be back.

Had an amazing meal! And the service was perfect! We dined in the bar area and the bartender was on point! The food was amazing couldn’t ask for a better night!

Décor is cute. It’s what Yankees think texas is like. We ate at the New Braunfels several times. We won’t be back to this one at Southpark Meadows. The service was seriously lacking and the food was too. We actually had to send food back and complain to management. Boo. Husbands steak was rare not medium rare. It was purple — red and bleeding. My daughter’s steak was well done instead of medium. My son and I got burgers. Dry. Boo. So disappointed!

What if I said I found THE waiter in Austin? What if I told you he makes our dining seem like the kind of service you’d find at a high end restaurant but with a personal touch? Arny in the bar area is one of the reasons we come to this location even though the Sunset Valley location is closest to our home.
Food value is outstanding and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. Eat here!

The burgers here are the best you will have at a steakhouse very flavorful and make you wanna cry when you take the the last bite!!!

First time going and loved it! It was my birthday dinner and well worth it.
Matt, our server, was amazing. We used an appetizer coupon that, actually, he and the manager honored thru my phone and nit the printed version. Matt was friendly, fast, courteous and cute. If you’re in his section, he’ll take care of you.
The food was so good. I recommend the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Mmmm… mmmmm…good.
I had the New York Strip and my only criticism was the tendon that was on the meat. Medium rare was just perfect. My partner had the Chopped Steak. Looked great, topped with string onions.
Since it was my birthday, Matt offered a dessert but I’m on a low carb diet right now. So, he gave me a coupon for a Free Appetizer! You know I’m getting thr stuffed mushrooms again!
The only thing I would suggest is for the manager. A young blonde man, very friendly, BUT he didn’t introduce himself. He came to our table to verify the free app coupon on my phone and kind of startled me.
I will definitely be back. Very reasonable prices, good food and great service. Hopefully, Matt will once again be our server.
