This is such a great shop. I’m also surprised that there aren’t more reviews for Love Ding, but that could just be because design lovers and those-in-the-know want to keep this special place to themselves. My husband and I have been here several times now, and we somehow always leave with something. There really is such a varied assortment of beautiful things at pretty much every price range, which makes each trip out to this hidden gem of a warehouse worthwhile. Denise(or Ding) is always so helpful and approachable, and she really seems to love what she does. We love that this place looks and feels like a friend’s cozy and fabulous home, that it hosts an assortment of local artists’ products, that it feels unpretentious and actually has special sales, and that it is very much a family affair(her parents are equally sweet and attentive). We love this local shop and will happily return whenever we need a little design change or special accent for our home.

Oh dang!(Or should I say… oh DING!) How can I be the first person to review Love Ding?! I keep threatening that I’m going to become a squatter and secretly live here. Which sounds really creepy, but I mean it as a compliment. Funny story — I was obsessed with Love Ding as a complete stranger, but I ended up meeting and befriending the owner, Denise, through mutual friends and she is just as lovely as her store. I don’t know if she appreciates my half-joking squatter comments, though. Anyway. This South Austin shop has everything. It’s stocked to the brim with gorgeous furniture, home goods, and décor, both vintage and brand-new. Denise has such an eye for selecting the perfect, eclectic mix of merchandise. Pricing varies from super affordable to big splurge — there’s something for every budget. If you’re a lover of midcentury design or you just want some pretty and oh-so-unique items to spruce up your home, Love Ding is totally a MUST.
