If real estate were a religion, I would start a cult dedicated to the praise and worship of Maria Tedder. Here’s the story: Maria is a friend of a co-worker of mine(the fabulous Suzie M.!) and one night, I met them out for drinks. I casually mentioned that I’d love to buy a home in a few years, when I’d be able to afford it, blah, blah, blah. That was the first and only time I talked to Maria until a couple of months later when I got a call from her telling me about some condos off Riverside that she thought might interest me. I didn’t think much of it(she must have a quota of calls to fill or something, I thought) but said that I’d be willing to check them out that Friday at noon with her, which I did. Three hours after seeing the condos, I was back in the sales office making an offer!(And, by the way folks, I’d never bought a home in my life.) Maria had remembered all the details of my «dream place» from that casual conversation months earlier and had found a place that fit the bill perfectly. As a first-time homebuyer, Maria«held my hand» and walked me through every step of the process. Maria never bs’d me, and gave me impeccable advice every step of the way as to what to expect, what to fight for, and what to accept. Maria is the one who held the developer’s feet to the fire on the changes that needed to be made before I took possession of my condo. Maria did my final inspection walk-through(I was on a family vacation) and made sure that everything was perfect. Since moving in, I’ve checked out other condos and have yet to find anything that comes close to the«bang for the buck» that I got for my place, nor do I find myself envious of those living in other condo developments. Thanks to Maria, buying my first home was a piece of cake. Frankly, I’ve had a harder time getting served at some restaurants(see Patsy’s Café review) than I did buying my home. Thanks, Maria! YOUROCK!!!
