I’m writing about my experience taking adult tap classes. Brenna is a goddess. She’s an excellent rhythm tap dancer and teacher in the vain of Acia Gray. Can’t go wrong taking any level of tap from her.

I’ve taken dance classes for 30+ years and love that SMSD is part of my life! The staff and teachers are top notch. The recitals are entertaining and clean. It’s an all-​around good place that families can trust to teach their children much more beyond the fundamentals of dance, including poise, creativity, commitment and how to work together. Having the Dancer’s Den store right next door is also extremely helpful, and they always have cute (yet functional) items for sale. I cannot wait for my infant daughter to be old enough to take class here!!!

My daughter started here in the fall and we both love it. Her teacher is Ms. Lauris and I have never met another teacher anywhere dance or otherwise that was better with children. She is just really sweet and nice and patient and fun with the kids. They have a two way mirror for the parents to watch during class and you can tell the kids just have so much fun and they all love her. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this place. As far as I know the other parents seem to like the school too.
