Palm Beach Tan

I have been with Palm Beach Tan for about 10 years now, and I just wanted to say this is one of my favorite stores that I have ever been to. The manager is not only good at customer service but she always finds a way to make the customer feel special. The shop is always in tiptop condition. It’s worth my diamond in membership for sure. I get 30% off products and $ 50 Intan money. Good job ladies at the Parmer store. Keep up the good work.

I’ve had been tanning here for years and have had a couple of hiccups here and there. One time I went to tan and when I went into the room I noticed the goggles and towel were on the floor. So I went back to the front and asked them if they had cleaned the bed in which they replied yes. So I told them the towel and goggles were on the floor then they quickly went into the room and cleaned it but I let it go. Then I went into to tan another day and I got into the bed and after 5 minutes the bed turned off. So I got dressed went to the front and asked how many minutes she put me in the bed and she replied 5 because it had been 2 weeks since my last tan and I would have to work my way back up by minutes. Please note I’ve been tanning for 15 years in tanning beds and in the sun… I practically live at the lake. So I told her that was ridiculous seeing how 2 weeks ago I was tanning at the max time. She told that was their rule and it’s not her fault if other people don’t follow it. When I asked to speak to the manager she said she was the manager and refused to give me her managers name and number instead gave me the 1800#, I told her I wanted the manager to call me which no one did. I knew after she refused to give me her managers name and/​or number I was done. These are not the only issues I’ve had but since it was so close to my house I let it go but this was the last straw, When I took a year break from tanning and went back they started me off at 8 minutes. I did cancel my membership and when signing up at Darque Tan they let me tan for 20 minutes without even blinking an eye.

These people are such scam artists. They tried to con my friend into buying $ 75 worth of unnecessary items plus a monthly membership which they made sound like a one time thing. Just make sure you know what you’re getting.
Also, said con artist went outside to fight with her boyfriend while I waited for my friend. Not that I expected them to be extremely professional here. Just found the whole experience extremely off-​putting.

Super helpful staff! It was my first time tanning and they explained the differences between the beds, helped me pick an appropriate level bed for my skin type and helped my find a good lotion package to help my tan last longer. Totally recommended!

There was a new girl (i think her name is Lisa) working when i came and she was just the cutest and kindest, so i have to give her a shout-​out. Its been almost a week and my mystic tan still looks awesome. I’m so pleased!

My review is based solely on the mystic tan. Yes, I do the whole fake-​n-​bake, as you can sometimes tell from my orange hands or feet (I’ve learned to deal with these side effects after a friend had a scare with skin cancer). So if you’re looking to check out their regular beds, don’t let these two stars scare you off!
The place is clean and new and has decent hours compared to other tanning salons in the area. Most of the staff are friendly, although some do go overboard in trying to sell you things. The prices were a little higher than other places I’ve been to, but as the salon was nice, I didn’t mind paying more. The reason for my two stars however is that their mystic bed never gave me any color!
I used it several times over the course of two months, hoping it was just me and not the actual bed. I told some of the staff about the lack of color but their only suggestion was I change my pre-​tan regimen (I was already doing everything I was supposed to). I know it wasn’t me because I’m now going to a different Palm Beach location and have no problems getting color there! I’d be willing to try them out again if they get their booth fixed, but for now, I’d recommend staying away from this location if you’re looking to get a spray tan.

Typical nice tanning salon. The prices are more expensive than Darque Tan, which is right across the street. Open until 11pm, 9pm on Sundays. I wish they were open later! Some of the staff is really sweet, others just constantly try to sell you things and give you dirty looks when you decline. There seems to be some problems with the training of the staff, as each person seems to give me different information about different machines/​mystic tan. The staff that are good are awesome. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and they just got a new mystic tan machine that blows warm air around you in between sprays. I’m happy with my experience here, and they have signs up that say if you’re not satisfied you can get a refund within 30 days of joining.
