In my 2+ years ordering from this location I have never received an incorrect or unpleasant order. This is hands down my favorite Papa Johns in town, if not some of my favorite pizza, much better than other chains and in my opinion can rival independent stores. Every employee I’ve ever spoken to has always been accomdating and extremely friendly, even when they had trouble finding my apartment and I wasn’t able to answer my phone, which I know has to be fustrating. I sincerely hope that I never move out of their delivery zone. Thank y’all so much for years of excellent service!

Check out my $ 0.75(a piece) wing!!! It’s the size of my thumb nail. Come on Papa Johns! If you’re gonna give someone that shit, don’t let it be a loyal customer that frequently calls in wings and lives across the street! So sad. Guess I’ll truck it down to Pluckers from now on.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I sat on hold for 7 and a half minutes trying to place an order to no avail. This is absolutely ridiculous and they have completely lost my business.

I give this a five for a big chain take out pizza. I almost did not order from here due to Unilocal reviews. I am an Austinite that gets pizza from Home Slice and Little Deli, so when I got my pizza from here I was skeptical. I have to say that the pizza was wonderful. The crust was fresh and soft and the sauce, cheese, and toppings were on point. My picky kiddo loved the pizza too. I am not comparing Pappa Johns to Home Slice or Little Deli… that would be silly. I am saying that if you want great pizza delivered this is a great place to get it.

Ordered an XL pizza with extra sauce and some cheese sticks. There was barely any sauce and the pizza sticks didn’t have anything to dip in. Why is this place so stingy with their sauce that I paid for?! Only pro is I had a coupon, but not worth such poor service.

Dear Papa John’s, I’m sure the heaping toppings and extra sauce that I paid for would have resulted in an embarrassing avalanche of food upon first bite, so thank you for saving me by creating the one onion slice, sauceless pizza of crusty shit that now occupies a sad ziplock bag in the rear of my fridge. I can’t wait to revisit my disappointment in a day or two when I heat it up again!

SKIMPYTOPPINGS. Last three orders were for very significant reasons. Otherwise, I would order else where. The toppings are always skimpy and they can only do thin crust if it is a large or larger. Despite my compromising needs, next time, I will just have to say no regardless. Not worth the money.

I emailed this location around Valentine’s Day as well as a week ago and never got a response. I ordered delivery for the heart shaped pizza and I was so excited for it because I’ve always wanted one and this pizza dream was finally about to become a reality! I opened the pizza box and the pizza was completely burnt and uncut. I could pick up the pizza from one side and the whole pizza would come with it and it wouldn’t even bend. The bottom was completely black and the cheese was burnt as well. I immediately contacted Papa Johns but never got a response. It was so disappointing that not only was my lunch completely ruined and inedible, but that my dream pizza wasn’t anything that I would order again. This has completely stopped me from eating Papa Johns ever again. Poor customer service and even poorer food quality check.

Like many other reviews, I have issues with this location. This is the 2nd time I ordered from here after moving to this neighborhood. I placed a phone order explaining I had a gift certificate, but when I got there they refused to honor it due to the fine print and another offer that was applied. In our conversation they threatened to put me on a list that prevents ordering from any papa johns. Basically I got screwed by them, never going back and I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

FIRST and LASTTIME. So my experience was so bad — I thought I was being punk’d. Ordered online. System asks how much I want on my CC. $ 9 pizza so I plugged in $ 15. SURPRISE — that’s for a $ 15TIP in addition to the pizza, tax and delivery fee. I called to explain error and was assured that I was wrong — ticket at this location did not indicate a charge with $ 15 tip. Okay, thanks. Seconds later, an email confirmation at 12:36pm CLEARLY showing the $ 15 charge. So I call back and am told in no uncertain terms that I can correct this issue with delivery receipt since they can’t fix at the store yet. So we wait. And wait. And wait. Look order back up and it said 30 – 40 minute time for delivery. I call 58 minutes after I placed order and am snippily informed that my order will be delivered momentarily. And isn’t it a shame the computer ordering system doesn’t reflect the delivery times they are honoring. My problem, how? Not to be. I get a call from driver who is NOWHERE near my place(which is less than a mile from PJ locale). I give him directions and go stand outside. Then I watch his car zoom past my complex. And I wait. 1:53pm a barely lukewarm, cheese congealed, dry and icky pizza is handed to me. And of course, receipt says I wanted to spend $ 27.33 for the privilege. I had never ordered from a Papa John’s before(none in my previous ‘hood) I will now NEVER be willing to take a chance on another one. What an unmitigated disaster.

The dudes hooked us up tonight. We had a great pizza and great service. My ‘driver’s instructions’ made no sense to the untrained eye, but they saw through to what I meant and made it happen! Cheers!

I would LOVE to be able to tell you what the pizza tasted like, but — sadly — I never found out. After 10 minutes on the phone — and after giving my credit card three times! — I was told that the price of the $ 8.99 pizza I had seen online(first time) was 16.89, then(second time) 12.99 then(third time) $ 9.78(after I told them for the third time I was picking the pizza up). And then one more time for old time’s sake, «Oh damn! Can I have your credit card again?» The most expasperating customer service experience I’ve had in some time. I finally told the kid to cancel the order, and I now I’m checking my bank account to see if I’ve been charged for the pizza I never got to eat. If I had not said something about the $ 8.99 price, the pizza would have cost me $ 7 more.

So let’s all bear in mind that this isn’t artisan pizza, but for the price you’ll get a hot, fresh pile of goodness with 5 toppings that you can grind on, and be a happy camper for $ 12. Ordered tonight, and got it in 20 minutes. Pretty sure I talked to the owner/manager when I called in. I expressed some constructive concerns about the freshness of the Parmesan cheese packs on my last order, and the owner personally put some perfect packs in my pizza box himself. Great pizza at a great price. This is how proper customer service is done. The guy obviously cares about his business and product, and I’ll definitely give them my business again.(By the way I ordered at 11 o’clock at night, so cheers to the owner for burning the midnight oil)

I usually come to this Papa John’s location for lunch to grab pizza to go. I always order online and pick so my wait has always been short. My reason for the 3 stars is that I’ve gotten better service at the Papa John’s in south Austin on Brodie Ln. As far as cleanliness it could be cleaner as far as the floor and uniforms go. It always seems understaffed, because usually the guy at the register has to go back and forth between the oven, answering calls and serving the front desk. When this happens I have my hawk eyes on to make sure gloves or hands are being watched. I come here because the pizza is decent and there’s always a Papa John’s deal.

We get carry-out pizza here a lot and I have never had any major issues with the quality or service. My only complaint is the consistency-sometimes there’s more sauce/cheese than other times on the exact same order. I think Papa John’s pizza is really good, not my favorite, but tasty and inexpensive. Also their rewards program is great as they always email me special bonus points, etc. so it seems like I’m earning a free pizza all the time.

Worst. Service. PERIOD! I have ordered at this location multiple times, and literally every single time I come in to pick up my order, I am completely ignored by every single staff member. Some of them give me eye contact, but then just turn away and continue working. Yes, I am fully aware that it’s an extremely popular pizza chain and they’re going to be busy regardless, but respecting your customers is CRUCIAL. I no longer order through this location, unless my girlfriend and I are feeling too lazy for carryout. The delivery drivers always have poor attitudes as well. Sigh, I really don’t understand why it’s so hard for this store to practice customer service.

The delivery service is decent(they’ve only been late once), but I recommend ONLY ordering delivery. Every time I’ve gone to the store for carry-out, I get ignored every single time. I’ll walk in, and some employees will literally make eye contact with me and still not say anything, like I don’t even exist. I wish I could say its only happened once, but that’s unfortunately not the case. I love Papa Johns but there really needs to be a better ethic regarding customer service(at this location anyway). I have no idea where it would be acceptable to ignore a customer when they walk in, ready to give you their money. If you’re looking for carry-out, I’d look elsewhere.

Remember the days when you picked up the phone to order pizza? Well, not anymore. Ordering pizza online is the way to go. It makes dinner way too easy. We order from this Papa John’s location more than I’d like to admit. Each time, the pizza has arrived as ordered and in less than 40 minutes. The order has always been correct and piping hot. We’ll definitely continue ordering from here when we go through our lazy, takeout spells.

**UPDATE: i lowered my rating to two stars because a while back, papa john’s discontinued the wheat crust. BOOOOO! D-, a few months ago, i got a carryout pizza here and was so disappointed– it did not satisfy my pizza craving at all. the next few times, i had conan’s, and that was very yummy & filling but also hard to justify from a financial standpoint. X – so i ordered again from this papa john’s, as i’ve had PJ pizza before and liked it okay; plus, i opted to get the whole wheat crust and hoped that would make a significant difference for me. it did! it’s only available in the large size(not medium, not XL) and it’s lighter and less hearty of a pizza than conan’s deep dish, but it’s yummy & cheap enough so that i’ll hit it up again fo sho. :) – X

I purchased a two for one pizza card from a member of the high school wrestling team. How do you beat two pizzas for $ 10? Of course, there are restrictions. Only one and two toppings but kids typically do not want the jalapenos, onions or olives that we like. Just cheese or cheese and pepperoni. Once when I called two pizzas in, I got them free. A person before me had paid for mine. Kind of a pay it forward thing. So of course I purchased two for the next customer. That was fun. Thanks Papa John’s for supporting the wrestling team and high school fundraisers. Not to mention this is pretty easy on parents’ wallets.
