Never ask this company! They didn’t come pick our garbage for two months made us pay for the month they didn’t even show up, plus increased our fee every three to four months! We were with them for more than a decade is that how you treat your customers?! We were paying them more than $ 500 per month and when we want to cancel our contract they make us pay $ 5400 for penalty! Nine month fee plus tax and all. The drivers are all unfriendly and there contract is three years! Once you’re in you can’t get out! Found a different company that will do the job for $ 120! How much difference is that!!! Never ask this company! You will regret it!

Negative stars… thats how terrible this company is. If you are looking for a business that will TAKEYOURMONEYANDNOTYOURTRASH than this is perfect for you. It became standard Monday morning procedure to call them to remind them that they«missed» the route AGAIN. This is after almost 12 months of service. My trash was missed almost every other week. I spoke to Cheryl who claims she is the supervisor, the first time I got the«we are so sorry», «won’t happen again» routine. She basically admits they don’t have enough drivers but they lead customers to believe that the incidents are isolated. These are entire neighborhoods keep in mind that are not getting a service they pay good money each month for. The second time I spoke to Cheryl she was not apologetic and instead seemed defensive the moment they patched me through to her. My trash is still sitting on the curb full despite me calling TWICE on trash day to ensure they came and picked it up. Don’t give these people your money and I encourage everyone who currently has horrible service through them to change it. Go read the other reviews you’ll see they are equally terrible. There are other options even in rural Austin.

I would not use these people. The missed a bunch of my pick up days and I finally got sick of them and left for greener pastures. I cancelled them 2 months ago and today I got a collections letter from them trying to bill me for this quarter. When I called, I spoke to the same lady that I called and cancelled with. She is down right rude and lacks basic customer service qualities you would expect from someone in her position. I explained that I had called way back and told them my service with them was being cancelled and I was changing companies and she even scheduled them to pick up my cans, then she denied knowing any of this and hung up on me. Real mature. I would steer clear of this company, that is if you don’t want crappy customer service.

Terrible service. I moved into a neighborhood where the prior owner used progressive waste. I continued with them when everyone else used someone else. Over the last year, they have skipped my residence at least a half dozen times. They skipped me again over Thanksgiving and have not been out since(week and a half later). I have called daily and have received several different excuses, including their truck broke down. Only to be told later they do not know why I was told that and it was not the case. I spoke to a supervisor last Friday who told me «things happen» and the system is not perfect. They could not guarantee this wouldn’t happen in the future. She assured me someone would be out Monday. I returned on Tuesday with now almost 3 weeks of trash still not picked up. I called again. Unacceptable I was, and another supervisor would call me back as well as trash picked up Wednesday. I come home from work Wednesday and the trash is still there. It was now been 3 weeks since my last trash pick up. If you have a choice in service, find someone else. Vaquero is used by everyone else in my neighborhood with no complaints. I should have learned my lesson one of those other half dozen missed days.
