, after attempting to call Reliable Appliance Repair. But they had very pleasant phone dealings with Reliable Appliance Repair afterward. Make sure you’re speaking with the REAL Reliable Appliance Repair before you pass judgment!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Showed up promptly, fixed my dryer, very reasonable cost. The owner/​repair person, Don Carpenter, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Has a degree in Electrical Engineering and knows what he’s doing. He asked questions and solved the problem the easiest way, giving me the option of a more intensive repair. He recommended the cheaper way!
ALL of the negative reviews on Unilocal are for a different person (Reliable Appliance Repair CREW). That company is no longer in business in Austin. Don is the best and I will highly recommend him to friends and will definitely call him again.

American Home Shield contracted these folks to repair my refridgerator. After 3 weeks, my refridgerator still doesn’t work. The technitian who came to install the parts (they forgot to order for a few weeks) left without fixing a thing. I told him it wasn’t fixed and refused to sign his work order. He said it would probably cool off in 2 – 3 days! I’m not joking. I’m certain Reliable Appliance Repair spends more time making excuses than doing honest work. American Home Shield is sending out a reputable company to clean up their mess.
