Used their online ordering two weeks ago and it has been three days since the package should have been there. Talked with customer service who blamed it on a third party person and didn’t even offer to refund the 12 $ charge. These guys can’t even compete with Amazon and it’s not even the peak of holiday shopping. Not going to use them any more. I hope I actually get the item I ordered.

I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just say, it’s hit and miss, depending on which photographer is in the store. We’ve been here twice before, first experience was pretty bad, second time we used a free coupon. The lady was great working with my daughter, things went smoothly, and everything turned out well! The wait time was still a bit long. The third time was absolutely horrendous. Different photographer, but she left half way through the session to help another customer. She ended up spending over an hour with the other customer while we were just stranded in the room. My daughter got super fussy, it was past her nap time and meal time, and we never even got to see our pictures and had to leave. We had an appointment, the other customer didn’t. Just absolutely unacceptable service. If we go again, I’m going to try to request the second photographer we had. I give them two starts because there’s at least one photographer there who is organized and can take great pictures.

Beware of trusting them to deliver a photo. We visited the portrait studio in the Lakeline Mall in Austin, TX for a Mother’s Day group photo. I had my daughter and grandchildren and it was an opportunity to get the photo, supposedly a free 16×20, as we were moving and this would not be an opportunity for a little while. After a month I called the studio, she said the photos weren’t in yet and should come soon. A week later I went into the store and she said she should get them soon. I explained we were moving. She said she would mail them to me. Another month went by and we moved, I called again and the person that answered the phone spent 5 minutes just trying to spell my first name. 3 days later no one called me back. I called the Sears Portrait customer service number and left a message for the district manager. Still no call back, not portrait. 2 weeks ago I sent an email using the web form. A week later I got a horrible email back that said; «We do apologize have forwarded your email and information to managment over this area to address.» Exactly from the email, no other content. That was August 17, today is August 24. I have tried every avenue to get my portrait but the studio doesn’t seem to care.

Still like coming to Sears, just try not to come when they are busy… it gets crowded quickly.
