Shoe Carnival

Bought a pair of shoes here after an exhaustive search. First issue is they have almost no shoes larger than a size 12. They do occasionally have a 13 or 14 size in some brands if your lucky enough to find them. The sizes of shoes are not organized everything is just haphazardly thrown on shelves. When you ask about other sizes the staff will just abruptly tell you «everything is on the shelves» and walk away. The place smells. The cashiers are very disorganized and will shuffle you from register to register before actually cashing you out. The shoes i bought were a name brand and these things where worn for a grand total of 5 hours over the course of 4 days after purchase and they began to fall apart. We took them back and where told unless we had the box and the reciept there was nothing they could do other than a direct exchange for the exact same shoe brand and color. Which of course they didn’t have. They will not let you place an order unless you sign up for thier silly shoe points reward program which is absolutely pathetic. So if i don’t sign up for the rewards program i cannot buy shoes, oh well Shoe Carnival i guess ill just have to goto to Famous Footwear.

Bad selection and they were out of the nylon socks you use to try on shoes. There was nothing in that store that was remotely attractive. I could have search for something better in the shelves, but why bother.

I’ve only been here once and wasn’t impressed. This smell in this place reeks of Chinese plastic shoes, and, sure enough, when you check the inventory, that’s the country of origin on everything.
I doubt I’ll be back. There are too many other places in this area to buy better quality shoes that don’t have that horrific odor.
