Avoid these guys. They are complete liars. I hired Elroy to pour a slab for an addition to my home. Once we agreed on a price he almost immediately began asking for more money. After 2 months of excuses, and requests for more money I finally fired him. The biggest problem with this company is communication. Elroy will only pick up the phone if someone is working on your project. I called, texted, and emailed countless times, and never got a response.(I would usually get a text at 7am several days later saying«We’re going to try to get it done today) Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this guy. He’s completely worthless. I wasted 3 months trying to get this small job done. Lesson learned.

Elroy started a foundation for me and after he was one week into the job I gave him a $ 10,000 labor and material draw according to the terms of our contract. Immediately after I gave him this draw he said that he would no longer do the job unless I gave him an additional $ 20,000 over what our original contract was because he did not bid the job properly. After a lot of discussion it came out that he did not even do any pricing on the job before submitting his bid for the work. I took a $ 8,000 loss on the foundation of the custom home I was building due to Elroy’s negligence and he basically conned me. If you would like to contact me regarding Elroy my business in Austin is Willis Custom Homes.

I just had a beautiful 12 X 50 patio poured this week. The job went smooth… On budget, schedule and job done as planned! Thanks to Elroy and his crew! Then some concrete was left over and they built a ramp for me to my garden shed. However… Issues I had and how they were handled. His crew took a couple of wheel barrows of slag(I had some removal done too) and dumped into the easement. I called Elroy and he did have the crew come back out and clean it up. To me it shouldn’t of ever happened however Elroy took care of it promptly. When they poured the concrete some of the concrete spilled under the form and they did not clean it up so it dried and is now part of the slab. Well they covered it with dirt which I thought it would be ok however it keeps washing a way since it is so much higher than my ground and along the whole 50 ft… extremely annoying, creating mud and dirty paw prints all the time. Not attractive along the bottom so I have to hide it. I just added $ 100 dollars worth of dirt and fanned it out about 5 feet hoping this will work, plus threw out some grass seed. If this doesn’t work then I will have to make a flower bed along the 50ft which I did not plan. Bottom line their work is creating me LOTS of work. That did work! I had warned and told them several times that I did have a sprinkler line in the area of where the form was getting installed. Yep… the patio went in then a week later I turned my sprinkler on to find a busted pipe right where one of form stakes went in. Ya know they knew when they hit it but didn’t say a word. Well I emailed/called in which Elroy accepted responsibility. I had ABC fix it… Cheap fix… a little under a $ 100. I sent the bill to Elroy and I was reimbursed 3 weeks later. If there are any issues they will take care of you and will call you back.
