We had been trying to conceive for over 5 years with several IUI attempts and a general accupuncturist with no success. Decided to take a break for a while. When we were ready again found this team focused on fertility and started the program, also wanted to find new RE doctor and their recommendation was right on. Within 6 months of this team approach we were pregnant and I had a wonderful pregnancy with very little symptoms all thanks to the care of Alison and Misty. They take the time to listen to your symptoms and explain to you how your body is connected and impacted by foods and other elements. My stress levels alone during this process went way down and it was highly a result of the great care of these ladies. We’ll be back when we are ready to expand our family.

My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for a year. I tried medication, herbs, diet changes, pretty much everything under the sun. I was receiving acupuncture through another acupuncturist for several months with no results. I was feeling discouraged and frustrated.
When I came across the Center for Reproductive Acupuncture, I thought that it couldn’t hurt to give them a try and gave them a call. I just had a good feeling about them right when we walked in the door. The office was very warm and inviting. Lindsay at The front desk was very calm, friendly and helpful. We had our initial consult with Misty, who was so understanding and knowledgeable. She gave us lots of dietary tips. I signed up for an acupuncture package before we left.
I started receiving sessions twice a week for a month from Misty and Alison. Before the treatments began, they checked in with me, answered any questions I had, and explained what points they were going to do. I was usually a ball of stress and anxiety before each session. By the time the last needle was in, I was practically asleep each time! I felt serene and relaxed after each treatment, which definitely helps when you are trying to conceive! I also took some herbs that they suggested for about a month (I discontinued because my doctor didn’t really want me to take them). They make the herb concoctions right there in the office, which I really liked (they know exactly where each herb is grown).
After a couple of months of treatment, I found out that I was pregnant! I continued to receive acupuncture throughout my first trimester with Misty and Melsa.
With the combination of acupuncture and treatment from my medical doctor, I had a healthy pregnancy and gave birth to my little boy in November. I am so thankful to the center for helping us to become parents. I definitely plan on going back when we decide to grow our family!

I can’t say enough good things about Misty and the staff at TCRA. I have been seeing Misty for about a year for fertility issues and although I’m not pregnant yet, she has helped me uncover many health issues that several doctors completely missed. If it wasn’t for her, I would still be undiagnosed and feeling worse and worse everyday.
From the initial interview, Misty has been very thorough, understanding and most importantly, she listens. Most of the symptoms I shared with Misty I shared with countless medical doctors and all of them brushed them off. Fortunately, Misty took the time to consider all my symptoms and figured out what was wrong. She is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese medicine and knows the right questions to ask to get to the underlying issues.
I must admit my case has been especially difficult, but if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be on the road to recovery like I am today. If you have any issues with fertility, or really any confusing health issues in general, Misty is definitely someone you need on your treatment team.
And…as a bonus, the acupuncture treatments are awesome. I also have severe allergies and migraines and the acupuncture has really helped.
