I’ve never been in a liquor store that I couldn’t just grab what I wanted and take to to the counter. You have to look around and request the associate to take down your choice from off the shelf. I guess their prices are fine enough, but the selection is definitely meager. Eh, I won’t go here again. I just wanna peruse the aisles, feel free to pick up a bottle, maybe put it back, and not have the eyes of an associate follow me, waiting for me to make a decision.

Tom’s is up the road from us, and it’s got everything we need liquor-wise. What’s most cool is the PEOPLE! If you want a «real» liquor store, Tom’s is the place!

Tom’s Liquors is no Spec’s, but when I walked in, the guy running the place was chuckling at a text message so he handed me his cell phone, and I read the text message that read something like, «I want to go down on you slowly then come up and f*** you(I don’t know if I’m supposed to use the f-word on Unilocal). Love, gas prices» That was most certainly the first time I’ve ever been handed a stranger’s cell phone when I walked into a liquor store, so the rest of the experience may be kind of shrouded by that glow of awesome, but generally, it was pretty good. Solid liquor store, all the usuals, though the wine selection looked pretty slim. I picked up a bottle of Level on special for like $ 28, which isn’t bad at all, so yeah. I’ll be back.
