Awesome pizza. We’re from Houston and unfortunately will probably never be able to return. Wife had penne vodka and loved it. Garlic knots were nothing special. But the pizza was the …do yourself a favor and stick with the pizza here its so good. The crust is perfect. Its a little hot in the upstairs seating which i assume is from the oven. Downstairs was freezing though. Service was also great. 5 star pizza for sure.

The food was good with the exception of single slices of pizza– which were not fresh. They had a decent beer selection and the staff were friendly even when our party stayed past closing time. Prices were reasonable.

Tried this restaurant on our recent trip to Bee Cave and I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza but wasn’t impressed with the garlic knots.

Hands down the best pizza in town! Everything is always delicious. Salads are fresh, good wine list and the pizza is amazing – seriously best in town!

Another favorite pre-movie spot. We have always had good service and the food is constant. So if you are looking for a casual bite before your movie I would have no hesitation recommending Tony C’s.

I really like this place. Their arugula and beet salad has fried goat cheese balls and is so good. The pizza is amazing and their spaghetti is by far my favorite in bee cave/lakeway area. Try the gelato! The vanilla is my favorite!

I’m gonna keep this simple… really good homemade pizzas, excellent sangria, and phenomenal service. Ask for Alejandro… he’s extremely upbeat, positive, conversational, and does a great job! Top five ZA!

Good pizza, salads, apps… slightly overpriced, hit or miss on service(attitude) Nice bar, gelato… not bad. Next to movie theater. We go about1−2 times a month.

Ordered the Spinach Goat Cheese salad and it had a cup of spinach, 4 cherry tomatoes, teaspoon of goat cheese. I was totally surprised by how little it was for the price. That’s all fine… But for $ 11.00? If you’re on a serious low calorie diet. Order this!

We sat at this restaurant for over an hour & a half. 3 tables around us, that sat down about 30 minutes after Us Received their order before us. We only ordered a cheese pizza, a pepperoni pizza & a salad. When we asked about our order, the manager had a horrible attitude like it was our problem not his. Two thumbs DOWN just based on service, people work hard for their money & when others have no regard for their customers when spending their money at their establishment — it’s sad & pathetic.

My husband and I stopped in after strolling through the Galleria. We started with the Garlic knots… Dont waste your time. No flavor at all. We then ordered a pizza which was HUGE. we each had one piece and took the rest home… Ill come back to this. Our waiter was great but dissapointed in the food at this point. The pizza was good but the garlic knots left this doughy taste in your mouth that you could still taste when you ate the pizza. So back to the pizza. We took it home in order to eat on it for dinner. We heated up the pizza, which doesnt reheat well due to the thin bottom crust, comes out kinda soggy BUT that wasnt the bad part. WHen my husband bit into his piece he pulled out a piece of paper… SOOOGROSS. After looking at the paper I am assuming that the Proscuitto has paper in between the slices and so one didn’t look and cooked the paper with my pizza. ruined it for us… So in return the garlic knots are not good at all and the pizza we had 2 pieces and 1 bit out of… Im just hopping we didn’t swallow any paper.

First, I have to say I was impressed that a manager reads the Unilocal reviews and took the time to reach out. That alone would make me want to try again. Which I did. Sat at the bar and service was very attentive. Had the bacon wrapped figs again which were still good! Shared a chopped salad(delicious) and flatbread(good, but pretty standard). Still cannot say this would be my new go to restaurant given my experiences and the fact that both locations are out of the way for me, but I’m at least opening to going back to try other dishes should a friend suggest it or I’m in the neighborhood. The wine selection is fantastic.

stone oven cooked pizza? Yes please! The staff is marvelous and for a little work client event that I wanted to do there, I had called in a week before and when I came in, the guy who answered the phone totally remembered! The place is two stories with a patio outside as well. It was a nice enough day that I had wished I sat outside. Maybe next time when its not for work and for a happy hour with friends! Now the pizza, for a 12″ priced around 14 – 16 bucks each, I was very happy with the freshness of the ingredients. There are quite a few things that I would love to come back and try. But honestly, I am such a fan of the pizza here, that is probably what I will stick to.

We’re not really ones to give out high marks on Pizza, we have our own pizza oven and usually have a batch of dough cold proofing in the fridge, but I’m sort of baffled by the ratings of Tony C’s here on Unilocal. We’ve been here a ton of times in the past year or so and absolutely love the place. This and Mandolas across the street are our favorite pizza in Austin partly because they both serve no BS Italian style pizzas, and not the grease laden monstrosities at all the chains and just about every other pizza restaurant in town. Always fast and fresh food and service has always been great. The BOGO pizza deal on Tuesdays is definitely the way to go. Have now tried a good portion of the menu, the fig appetizer is our favorite and favorite pizza is the prosciutto and goat cheese. Personally, I recommend getting something other than a typical pepperoni pizza here. Their specialty pizzas are awesome. Prices are fair for the area and the quality of food. For all the people bashing the prices, look at the area where you’re eating. Burgers in this area are $ 10+ each and a margarita next door is going to run you $ 10. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Had to meet friends there before a movie. It was despicable that the couple next to us had two dogs, each sitting it a dining chair at their table. This is a health code violation and this place should be heavily fined. Unacceptable!!! I would revoke their license to serve.

I Have been going here since it first opened and the salads are so fresh I’d swear there’s a garden out back. Nice menu selection with consistency throughout. Blue Moon on draft! Yum… They did this right from the start and it shows, I noticed by the photo on the wall this family has been a success since 1946. Way to go Ciola’s!

While I’ve found this place to be hit or miss, and I wish that they were more consistent with the garlic knots(sometimes they taste like garlic knots and other times they taste like bread), I find that the coal oven makes a nice pizza. Get it while it’s piping hot, the cheese dripping down your fingers, and you’ll agree. I don’t like it nearly as much as a carry out item unless I eat it the second the box hits the kitchen counter. The speciality pizzas are pretty delicious. I enjoy the arugula and goat cheese variety, but it’s definitely not for a pizza traditionalist. Order on Tuesdays and BOGO pizza is a great deal! Final note: the salads are nice, especially in house versus takeout, but the pasta portions are small for the price. If you’re craving pasta, I would suggest going someplace else.

I hate to knock off stars, but I’ve noticed service and food quality/consistency has waned a bit over the last several months. I’ve noticed we haven’t seen the owners in about a year, so perhaps that may be the cause of it? We’ve had hits and misses with salads being underdressed and pizza by the slice inconsistent. Either it is fresh and crispy or lacking toppings and getting stale. Granted they did comp the slice last time, but I am sad to see service and food quality slipping. I want food at a restaurant to taste better than what I prepare at home and several recent visits have left me wishing I had just stayed home to cook dinner. Hopefully it’s just a dip in the valley as I really love the ambiance, location and the owners are a nice, local family so I want them to succeed and be able to recommend the restaurant with confidence.
