I loved this place. The music was loud and on trend(hip-hop/rap/some top-40). Most people danced. If you don’t want to dance, don’t come. I went on a Saturday and the place was packed. There are a lot of olderish(25−30+) yo men that like to hang around and dance with the(typically younger) girls. If this bothers you, don’t come. The people complaining about the shady or ‘ghetto’ crowd need to loosen up and live a little! lol.

Vice… Vice…what to say about you? This was the first club I went to in Austin. Its my go to place since Im yet to be 21. Its highly expensive, $ 10 – 15 to get in for me and it sucks. First of all the type of people you find in vice is your stereotypical dirty, drunk and ratchet people. The DJs also suck. They do not know how to transition songs, but rather play part of one, have to stop the music to play another. Or if they finally hit a good song its literally on for only 10 secs and they move on to a generic crappy song that they just played 20 mins ago. It also gets so damn packed that you can’t dance! I’d rather hit up Cielo, Karma or Lucky instead of this place.

This is the most ghetto club on 6th. If you wanna get your grind on to some really shitty music this is the place to be. Its the only 18+ place on 6th… and it really shows. The staff/doorman/bouncers are extremely rude. There are soooo many other places on 6th that are better in every aspect that you could possibly think of… except for one: level of ghetto. I admit it, there are just some nights when i wanna get my freak on, and this just so happens to be the best place to do it.

Do not go to this bar. The staff are assholes and have no respect for anybody. It’s sketchy and raunchy. Not worth it.

Fun to dance but not worth the $ 5 cover. Way too many other places on 6th with the same music and dance atmosphere with no cover and no wait to get in. Overcrowded too.

This is the shittiest bar on sixth street. They are the last 18+ establishment and have no idea how to run a decent business. The music is shitty and the bartenders are awful. They are rude, unfriendly, and have no idea how to make tips so they demand them, which is exactly how to get people to write reviews like this one. I would recommend that this bar be closed. They are a blistering fester on the exciting culture that is sixth street and have to go. Nobody should be going to this place, it is honestly the worst bar I’ve ever been to…

This is the club that all the other lame clubs on 6th Street are afraid to be. It’s exactly what I want out of an experience on the most ridiculous stretch of road in Austin — meat market, bad music and the potential for shady men to grind my ass. VICEHASITALL!!! …I honestly don’t know what else you’d expect from a place like this. Also, best people watching ever. Forealdo.

If your looking for a 21 and under place then you more or less limited to places like this from my experience. It’s not bad I’ll give it that. But the crowd definately seems different from the normal 6th st crowd. A little on the sketchy side. If your walking up and down 6th st and see the fun loving college crowd you might be used to… unfortunately you might not find them inside this venue. Drink prices are reasonable, and the bartender upstairs was more friendly than the ones downstairs for sure. Probably due to the fact that the upper levels were considerably less hype than the first level. They claim 3 levels but the upper levels aren’t much more than a place to get away from the crowd downstairs if you need to. No cover for over 21 and 10 $ for under I believe. This was a friday night that me and my friend went so maybe saturday is different. I’m more accustomed to places that have a little bit more energy than this joint but nevertheless it could of been worse. The music was mainly hip hop with a top 40 here and there. Then they threw in a little suprise at the end when they played a couple house songs then ended the night with dubstep. I would go back but next time I’m in need of a 18 and up venue in austin… I think I will be checking out the live music scene first. PS: don’t even consider trying to talk while your there, they’re pushing the audio like their life depends on it. More or less no way to hear yourself think unless you step outside.(another good point… they allow re-entry even if you go walking around for a while)

–noun: 1. an immoral or evil habit or practice. 2. immoral conduct; depraved or degrading behavior. 3. sexual immorality, esp. prostitution. Yes, yes and yes. Demoralizing to all who accidentally walk in. Should operate only in conjunction with full-body sanitizing mister at door and 3 free therapy sessions(far away from Vice). Best nights: all those spent not here.

A work in progress(if they keep up with it) this place had the worst reputation on the street, but they had cheap drinks one night so i stopped in. they are slowly remodeling and the place looks a hell of a lot better than it did. the djs they had were playing a wild mix of all types of music, but not centering around one genre which ade the crowd a nice mix of people and kept the vibe fresh.

Vice magazine makes me wanna vomit. And even though the two aren’t related. this bar on 6th Street makes me wanna vomit too. During SXSW, they don’t allow cameras in the venue. Might as well say… «Everyone leave your cellphones at home too.»
