Victory Medical never has my prescriptions ready. It drives me nuts. And they never seem concerned that they’re not ready. I had something called in this morning and it won’t be ready till tomorrow afternoon.

While this is not my regular go-to pharmacy, as I am bound by my Rx plan to one of those three letter pharmacies, I recently had incident to pick up a compounded prescription here which included strengths of different vitamins in the Rx. They have a drive through, weekday, evenings and weekend day hours. The price was reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. The pharmacist was even nice enough to, at my request, provide me a list of the everything in my scrip and the strengths.

The promise of local and good service is just not there, although the staff is nice. I’ve used them since they opened and share my doctor’s office but had numerous problems which stem from a lack of follow thru and attention to detail. I have this pharmacy on speed dial because I’m never sure what I’m going to get or not get each month. You name it, they’ve managed to mess it up at least twice, which honestly is understandable but even after calling and getting assurances and apologies the same issues come up again and again. I’m done with Victory Pharmacy and happier for it. If you want local and customer service driven try People’s Pharmacy or Tarrytown.

The pharmacy representative at Austin Pain Associates told me my topical compound would be ready to pick up next day at 3:30 at that location. It wasn’t; all I got was an apology and a promise to deliver it to me in two days.

The best service of any pharmacy! Plus, you can get a latte at Austin Java while you wait. Comfy tables and chairs while you wait, too.
