It’s 7:42 p.m. on Dec 27 I came to get food to eat at home went thru drive thru did my order when I get to the I ask them to repeat it they repeat it n it all has good till I get the order and check it all wrong I ask for extra cheese on my patty melt n to be cut in half to my surprise no extra no cut in half my wide order a whataburger jr with onion with no onions or lettuce on the burger it came with everything. I ask for a manager he shows up and starts to correct me way before I finish telling him what was wrong I literally had to tell him to shut up n let me tell him what was wrong… just for that they lost a loyal customer for this location I had never had a problem till today…

Bad Whataburger location, was driving through and was sent to their lane B. Lane A had at least 4 – 5 new drivers pass me as the order in front took forever to get correct. Bad management, would not go again. Tell your friends. FYI I’m an impatient asshole

Really sucks for a vegetarian to pick up some breakfast tacos… drive back to the office… only to find out the ordered potato egg and cheese taquitos were in fact SAUSAGE egg and cheese… Ugh. Its not that hard. Really.

Tried the grilled chicken sandwich & it was not edible. Had fries that were stale… Got tea that had melted the ice… Not happy…

I find all Whataburgers to be hit or miss. I grew up in Texas and I just don’t get the obsession with the food here. If it’s hot and fresh, it’s pretty tasty but when you come at 3 am and you don’t have the freshest food of your life, I get it. However, I came here at 7 pm and got the worst, soggiest, grossest food I’ve had from a Whataburger in a long time. These fries were so old that I could barely chew them. I asked for extra lettuce and got literally 10 pieces on my burger. I ask for toasted and it was practically burned. I gave them 1 star for the lovely girl that took our order. She was very polite. As for the food, it gets NO stars. Unfortunately my husband loves Whataburger(he would eat a shoe if I covered it in the spicy ketchup) and this one is the closest to where I live but ugh. I could never eat here again and be totally happy.

bleh. The burgers themselves, for a fast food burger, aren’t bad. Breakfast is nice, especially beginning at 11PM. However, this location specifically takes waaaaaay longer than it should to get your food in the drive thru. I’ve given up numerous times and gone somewhere else. On the rare times that I do have the patience to wait for them to kill the cows and grow the vegetables there’s way too often something missing from my order. Not recommended.

What a burger is the best in the business. Did you know each ketchup packet is mysteriously numbered and there’s a secret menu

Sometimes it’s the people, not the product, that make a business shine. This is the case at this particular Whataburger. Josh and Elva really make this business shine. I’ve been coming to this particular Whataburger for over five years. And just about every time I walk in for lunch, Elva and Josh are there. Elva«always» gets my order right: number 2, single cheese, no mustard, add ketchup, mayo and all the veggies. And Elva is always positive. Josh is the king. He will really chat you up. Josh has Down Syndrome. Josh is quick to shake your hand and ask about your day; and he actually listens and cares. Josh is the Best Man in his brothers upcoming wedding. So if you run into Josh, ask him if he has anything special planned. I’m sure he will tell you all about it and put a smile on your face.

All Whataburgers are NOT created equal, this spot is always fast, friendly and fresh. I’ve never got Luke warm fries or a burger that tasted like it sat under a light for 10 min… OHHH whataburger how I love to hate thee!

This Whataburger has absolutely great service and friendly staff at every corner. I’m not a big fast food fan, but have found myself here on a number of occasions and been warmly greeted and well taken care of by the staff here. Everything is clean. Food is fast and fresh. Staff has a strong ability to provide quality customer service like you are at a top-end restaurant. If I’m in gear for a Whataburger stop, I’ll drive out of my way to go here.

It ain’t no gourmet joint serving fancy toppings and exotic beef, and thank goodness for that! However it is the best of the chains and I am a burger lover. The burgers always taste fresh, the service is the best, the fries consistently good. There is not one thing I can say bad about this place. I do not give out 5’s very often, but a joint this consistent at being good deserves all 5

Whats burger is the best fast food burger that you can find. The patty melt is delicious. They also have great onion rings and chicken strips.

One of the best locations I’ve been to. Consistently friendly and fast service, and the food is always incredible. Always juicy burgers, warm, soft buns, never made a mistake in the order, crispy, hot fries, just hit the nail on every head. This is fast food that, if you weren’t told, you wouldn’t believe was fast food. Their burgers are better quality than many sit down restaurants I’ve been to. A+++ for this location too.

Whataburger burgers are a step above McDonald’s or DQ or the like. Not quite up to the level of a true restaurant burger, but great for fast food. Sort of on par with Sonic, but easier to customize since you don’t have to speak through the irritating speaker thingy that seems to somehow drop the most important part of your order. I mean, Whataburger advertises«Just like you like it», but seriously, what burger joint is going to say«NO! YOUMUSTHAVEMAYOINSTEADOFMUSTARD! NOSUBSTITUTIONS!» Well, I’m sure there’s some local, natural, anti-GMO, organic, hipster, Austin original place out there that takes that stance on burgers, but yeah… it’s not normal. What was unusual about this particular Whataburger was how incredibly friendly the staff was. They were quick enough, and my order was simple, but correct, but what really struck me was that they went out of their way to be friendly and nice. That’s not normal for fast food, and certainly not normal for fast food at 1am on a Saturday night. Maybe they were just happy that I wasn’t drunk or high and was easy to understand, i dunno. Regardless, it’s a much better environment in which to sit and eat than, say, a Waffle House or a Denny’s, which tend to have questionable service and loud, irritating customers during the same time frame. The location might have something to do with the less unruly crowd. You couldn’t get much further from 6th street and still be in Austin, which is a plus, in my opinion. Also worth mentioning is that Whataburger’s chicken tenders are also really good, some of the best I’ve ever had, and their gravy that they put with it is great. And their milk shakes are awesome.

Oh honey butter chicken biscuit I can’t stop dreaming of you! You truly have earned your«liquid gold» honey butter reputation — so buttery and honey-y! I have to admit it is probably a good thing you are not nearby!

The Bob sausage(breakfast on a bun) is one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches for fast food. It’s also hard to beat the price at like $ 2.64 including tax when you compare the size. This one is located right across the street from where I work so it can be a little dangerous for me… being over 40 and all.
