I am happy to give a five-star rating as I have been renting cars from Enterprise at the Avoca Airport for several years when visiting from California and always had a good experience with the cars and customer service. Last week I scored a discount rate through AARP and rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee which my husband and I drove from Wilkes-Barre to Los Angeles. The SUV was spotless and in perfect working order. And I must give a shout out to Shannon who had the Jeep cleaned for me and to management trainee Damien Fondo who patiently made sure my husband and I were comfortable with the high-tech features. Then, returning the Jeep to Enterprise at Burbank Airport was a breeze. Five-stars from coast to coast!

Well I was really glad that I could rent a car from this place on short notice. How ever everything went fine until I returned my car. There was a dent in a side of the car I rented, the guy who inspected it before I started driving it, made a note that there was a dent, and he assured me that everything would be ok. When I returned it they tried to charge me extra for that dent. It took me 2 weeks calling back and forth so they could release $ 200 they put on hold. Finally I had to take off and visit their office again to prove that I had a copy where they could see the note made by they employee. Before you rent a car, make sure you fully inspect your car, or be ready to pay for someone else’s damage!

I will NOT be renting from this location again. My home town location treats me much better and any business who purposely over sells the cars and does not keep my reservation is not likely going to get any more business from me. I don’t agree with their management concept of customer service where you reserve a car, but it’s not guaranteed to be there when you arrive. The guy at the desk said it happens a lot and management would rather sell out than have cars left. Well — you will have a harder time selling out when you treat your loyalty customers and customers in general the way you do! You won’t get this chance with me again — HORRIBLE situations are created for customers at this place!!!
