I recently called up Champion for the second time to come out and replace some of our windows they previously installed due to seal failure. They came out 8 weeks ago, and still have not received the replacements. I called them, and their response was it just went into manufacturing last week. Their service response time is horrible. And on the lifetime warranty, they fail to inform you that EACH time they come out, there is a $ 150 trip fee that you have to pay!!!

Substandard product. Zero service. We ordered 11 windows from Champion five years ago. About half of the windows installed — the ones used most — have slowly been disintegrating, for example the vacuum has been breached about a 1⁄3rd of the windows, so the gas insulation that we paid dearly for, because we bought the best they had — which is supposed to keep the house warm is no more. One window has completely fallen apart — there is a pin that allows one to slide the window laterally so you can clean it, but now the pins have broken and the bottom window falls out. So you can’t even open it because the only thing holding it in is the lock. Screws are coming out of hardware. We spent a lot of money, we get CS on the phone and they’re very nice and even apologetic but no one calls back, no one cares that their windows are falling apart. So next step is Consumer Affairs and Better Business.

I ordered my windows from champion on 7÷31÷13 from a salesman at my house. When he was leaving I asked how long until the install date to which he replied«they are 6 weeks out and it’s a 1 day job». He left with a deposit check. I never heard from them until I started calling in early November asking about my order. After being lied to several times by Kyla in the office saying they were on the next truck. The windows were finally«installed» a week before thanksgiving. A broken sash, a forgotten weatherstrip and 800 tubes of caulking later, I’m still waiting for my weatherstrip and sash to be installed. These cold days make me wish I never called them because my living room now has a wind chill factor. These guys are liars who say they don’t use subcontractors– another lie! The guys who«installed» my windows were roofers! They told me themselves! Don’t trust these guys, don’t pay in full until the whole job is complete! The only saving grace is I have only given them 1⁄3 of the money!
