Bed Bath & Beyond

We purchased a kitchen cart from Bed Bath & Beyond. They didn’t have it at the store so we had to have it shipped to home. They did ship to home for free which was nice, however the package showed up damaged. I thought to myself, the packing looks poor and they have some banged up areas but they probably packed it good enough so I opened it up. Once I got all the pieces out which were packed well, I notice one side area is scratched up fairly bad. I tried to return to the store and was told I had to ship it back to an address in NJ. Well I wasn’t going to pay for shipping back for something they screwed up, it would have been over $ 40.
I contact PayPal which is how I made the purchase and opened a dispute. Asking for a full refund and for the company to pay for return shipping. The only way they would give us a full refund of $ 255 was if we shipped it back at our own expense. This is not how to operate a business if you want to have return customers. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this as well as continue to dispute with my payment company. I will also never spend another dime at this place and have told everyone at my office about this experience. This is poor business Bed Bath & Beyond.

Every time I go into this store, I feel like more of an annoyance than a customer. The employees just seem to care about talking to each other more than their actual clientele.

I walked into get a quote for several items but it seemed that every customer service person wasn’t interested in helping me, I tried to get the attention of an associate named Mercedes but she seemed far more interested in her phone. when I did get her attentions she only had rude stares and a harsh tones to offer me. I walked around some more with no help in sight. My last stop in the store was near the towels. I wandered a bit and was asked by a young women by the name of Stephanie if I needed help, I said yes and told of my experience so far. She apologized for the short comings and offered to help me. She informed me of the different brands available and suggested what might best suit my needs, so the visit wasn’t a complete wash, but most of the employees need repremendation.

I am a frquent shopper at Bed Bath & Beyond. They have a good selection and comoetitive prices on products. Bed Bath and Beyond has an easy return return policy and they let you use coupons that are expired.
Yes, you can probably go somewhere else and find similar products however, the products and level of customer service will not be as good.
I have gone into Bed Bath & Beyond looking for specific items and if they don’t have the item stocked they have offered to order and have the item shipped.
Competitive pricing and great customer service will keep me coming back.

Typical Bed Bath & Beyond store. If you check your mail there is periodically a 20% off coupon in there — either for the entire purchase or one item. The prices are slighty higher than other retail stores so I’m not sure if the discount really matters. Good selection of items for the kitchen.

This place is awesome! Everybody is so nice & helpful. I registered there for my wedding & ended up needed to make returns. Their return policy is the best ever! No receipt needed and if if wasn’t in stock they mailed it directly to my house. I can’t say enough about how pleased I’ve been with their service.

Visited this store today for bedding. Best shopping experience that I’ve had in a good long time. Vicky DelGato waited on us and I am so happy she did. She is the most pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable salesperson that I have met in 60 odd years. She placed an on-​line order for us for the pieces that they did not stock in the store, rang up the sale for us and was so nice. Wow, I would strongly recommend visiting this store.

I had a wonderful experience at BBandB today in Avondale and am excited to share it with my friendly fellow Unilocalers :) I was interested in purchasing a particular item that is a Bed Bath and Beyond exclusive… but unfortunately I waited too long, the item went on clearance and is no longer available online. I called the 1 – 800 number and was told that the item was available at the Avondale store. I talked my husband into going on a little shopping trip with me — we arrived at the store and I asked the ladies at customer service if they knew where to find the product. A manager (Peder) overheard my request and offered to take me back to where the item would be stocked. He told me en route that he thought they were sold out. He was right. But — he was able to find one on his store computer and order it for me (something I could not do on the internet or through the 1 – 800 number since the item was showing discontinued/​out of stock). Thank you Peder for amazing customer service! I for sure received great service — NOT the kind you normally expect to receive from a big box shop. Pedar is a true asset to this organization. Looking forward to receiving my package in the mail soon :)

Love this store! Too many things that I NEED, ok I want… Yes, this store layout is like all the other BBB’s but there are always new items to find. The employees are this store are awesome. One lady in Customer Service took her time to make sure the wedding present I bought was wrapped nice and neat. She made sure the bow was on perfect. =)

Just like every other Bed Bath and Beyond. The ladies at the Customer Service desk were very helpful though.
