This is my first Unilocal review. I usually don’t bother but I felt it necessary due to what my family and I experienced. The food here is horrible!!! My husband had his heart set on the millanessa. He spit it out into a napkin because it was saturated in oil. They wouldn’t refund the money either. The cook said he makes it the way it looks in the«picture». Horrible customer service as well. The girl at the front counter had a horrible attitude as well and was chuckling about it. There are way too many other great mexican food places to waste your hard earned money on this one. We spent over $ 60 amongst the 4 of us and this is how we were treated. Very disappointing…

Really good quesadilla, wet bean & cheese burrito, and enchiladas! Highly underrated if you ask me!

Decent food, relleno was good, beans tasty, rice okay. Food was not temperature hot. Cocido was good. Ordered capirotada, did not like the coconut and colored candies on top.

Just a little while in the wall restaurant in Azusa with very good Mexican food. Already cooked to order and friendly staff. They bring you chips and salsa and have fresh made aguas frescas. They bring you a dessert after you meal and the flan is to die for.

Got hungry on the way to Upland from Pasadena so exited Citrus and stopped at the first mexican place that looked open. It was empty when we got there; only a lady cleaning tables. She didn’t seem so enthusiastic, so we asked if they were about to close. She said, «No. At 10.»(An hour) I ordered the carnitas plate with flour tortillas and Horchata and my friend ordered the combo plate with enchilada, taco, and chile relleno. All the food was good: Horchata: just enough sweetness, not grainy nor cinnamon-y Salsas: very spicy but oh so good! No signs to let u know which one was mild so had to taste and find out! Hot!!! Carnitas plate: seasoned well. Not greasy. Big portion. I didn’t get to taste my friend’s food, but she finished the whole thing so it must be good! Lol We dined in so we had chips and salsa and received a free piece of cheesecake for dessert included with orders. We loved the food and prices are every reasonable. Just deducted 1 star cuz lady could’ve been more friendly. Maybe she doesn’t speak too much English, but my friend talked to her in Spanish and her demeanor stayed the same. Oh well! Food is good and she gets all the food to you fast and orders were correct! I’ll still come back.

I have been to glorias restaurant various times. The last two times were very disappointing. One time I ordered the fried fish. The fish came to me with all the scales on and not cleaned properly. The following time I ordered the liver. When I was eating the liver I noticed a funny taste. I turned it over, it was burned on the bottom and very dry. I don’t think i will return to this place. I showed the manager both times my food and all she said was ok. I will let the cook know. Also when i had the fish I asked for another one, it took almost 40 minutes for a new fish that was properly cooked.

I ordered a carne asada burrito from Gloria’s last night. It’s located fairly close to where I live so I wanted to give it a try. At first I thought, «Great the carne asada burrito is only $ 4.50!» The cashier asked if I wanted everything in it, and I replied that I wanted everything except for beans. I think she and I have a different definition of everything. I thought everything meant sour cream. guacomole, and all that jazz. Nope. It literally just had rice and the carne asada. I wish I had eaten there instead of taken it to go so that I could complain. The carne asada didn’t taste that great either. It tasted greasy and extremely fatty. Definitely not the best burrito I’ve ever had.

Delicious food! Where the carne asada is not smothered in enchilada sauce. everything from this place is delicious and home made.
