My favorite supermarket come here for everything. Nice workers, great deli, good meats. Great prices. Only bad thing is sometimes there is no parking on account of people park here and go to citrus college stadium or APU.

Location: It’s on a busy street that requires you to be alert when entering the parking lot by both cars driving by or exiting the lot. There are two driveways with the one next to a Starbucks that usually seems tougher to get through because of the car and foot traffic. Once in the lot, the spaces around the shopping center are usually tough to get in for bigger vehicles and the center spaces aren’t that much better but it works. It’s a fairly crowded lot but always available spaces. Venue: The market is good size and has everything I ever require unless I’m searching for a specialty item. Baskets are acquired prior to entering and are kept in good condition and never had an issue with one being too uncontrollable. Aisles are kept clean. Product: I shop here at least 2 – 3 times a week and never had any issues with items purchased. Their selection is sufficient although I only cook for 2. I’m pleased with their deli, produce, and cheese sections the most. The alcohol and bakery section seem a bit smaller than most grocery stores that I’ve visited yet it has everything I ever require. Probably by spacing everything a little closer… its just an assumption. Service: The workers know their stuff. They will not hesitate to make sure your questions are answered. This one time a guy took me to 3 different spots where different types of pesto was supposed to be. It had looked like someone went on a pesto hunt but after walking me around the aisle we find one last packet, great service. Cashiers and baggers are usually younger but always ready and Ive never had to wait behind more than 3 people on a busy time of day. They take all forms of paymet, even ebt, but uncertain if google pay will work. I have yet to try it. Theres no self-checkout, but that’s not to uncommon yet. Also, I find myself in the produce section a lot and never disappointed when shopping through it. Overall: I enjoy shopping at this market because of the items available, freshness, and service. If I could change anything it would be to create better parking spaces. Other than that, it’s a good market.

Don’t ever go to the deli. The sandwich was disgusting. Not sure how someone can mess up a sandwich with just veggies, but she did. I’m glad I paid $ 4.99 for 1 tomato, a few pickles and the extra lettuce I asked for but didn’t get. They don’t have the bread they advertise. Thank god I didn’t get any of their meat since the meat slicer looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. The line took forever but that is a given when you move as slow as molasses. People started to drop out of line because the service sucked so bad. NEVERWILLCOMEHEREAGAIN. Entire store was a mess.
I love this store. We drive from Duarte to shop here because the butchers are awesome. They truly take care of their customers. I buy my meats here for chili cook-offs. 2 blue ribbons so far and looking for more. Thanks guys!

We all have a lot of choices for supermarkets, but Stater Brothers seems to have folks duped with their«low prices». I just moved here from Pasadena, and this market can’t even compete with Von’s, Let alone independent markets like Super King. I’m unimpressed.

If there is my go to store, it is always Staters for their great prices and awesome customer service. This particular location makes me double think about it. They have immature workers always fooling around, no courtesy to ask if you need assistance. I assume this store is mostly run by high school/college students, whatever point is they should conduct themselves in a better manner. They represent not only themselves, but the entire store. West Covina location is my favorite, great customer service always greet you with a smile and love their positive attitudes towards customers!

I came here to grab some eggs and milk around night time since my wife kept asking me to go. I went to the back area where the fridges with the eggs and milk are. As I was deciding which products to get I hear loud giggling and laughter coming from the small hallway. Two guys and two girls who were employees walk out and I heard one of the girls yell«Party in the back rooooom!~» like she was at a college party. I was surprised they didn’t ask me for help as I was pondering on what to get. I was going to ask but they were so engulfed in their affairs. I went home and was thoroughly disappointed to what Stater Bros has become. The kids working at this store have no experience and little drive to learn basic customer service. They are garbage.

1st time at this location. I don’t live near a Stater bros so I googled and this store was the closest. Very nice, clean, friendly staff just a little small. The deli was out of chicken but they made me a fresh batch and put it aside. I will drive 30 minutes again for this market.

I love this store. Small, easy to get in & out, fast, very friendly & helpful staff, great prices, and ample selection. Today they had APU graduation & Mayweather-Pacquiao fight and had lots of party items ready to go. The lines were long but moved fast & they opened all check stands to get everyone moving. I like their produce department, frozen fish(Aqua Star brand) is eco-friendly and approved. BUYAQUASTAR!!! lots of non-gmo, organic produce & grocery items. I hope they bring in more! I like the digital coupons but the paper coupons take up so much space & ink I don’t use them same with their shopping list format. I wish all the coupons were on digital or paper option for those who do not have computer access instead of one option. Otherwise great store. Could use some modernization, however I prefer lower prices over fancy. Great for students going to APU& Citrus College.

Stater Bros. is one of my favorite local supermarkets to purchase individual cuts of rib eye steak when I’m trying to decide what to eat for dinner. The freshness and quality are great for the price.

Stator Bros is maybe ½ mile from my house. Their meat is always good, their selection of everything else is just okay, but not bad considering the size of the store. What SUX is the service. I have to go to this store often because of the proximity of my house, but I really think I will stop. The final straw came when on 10÷14÷14 I entered and went to the wine section. They have a great sale going on where if you buy 4 bottles(mix and match!) you get 30% off the total price. My wine was unavailable, so I went to ask a store clerk if he would look in the back. The first guy I saw was in produce, and when I asked he said, «Somebody upfront can help you. I’m busy.» Seriously, word for word, he said that. I looked at him and said, «really?» He didn’t even look up. I then went to a bagger, who was MAYBE18 and asked him the same question. He said he would get the manager. I watched him go up to the manager and ask him. The manager actually said he was busy as well, and that I would have to wait. He looked at me then went talk to another employee. Unbelievable. Over and over I go to this store to be treated bad. From the checkers who sit INFRONTOFTHEDOOR and smoke, to the rude clerks at the meat department, to the unavailable help from the staff, I just keep asking to be treated rudely by going to this store. There are maybe 3 people I enjoy talking with, other than that it’s an awful experience to do business with this market.

They had some good deals here, very reasonably priced items. I also picked up a pumpkin to decorate for Halloween.

Their produce section is pretty shameful – I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about since I come here often. Every time I go, almost all of the fruits and veggies are either extremely overripe or won’t be ripe for several days. It’s nearly impossible to find a good piece of produce – and you will only find a good one if you search for a little while. A tiny tray of blackberries or raspberries(which has about 12 berries in each one) will cost you $ 4 when you can get better berries in the same container at the 99 cents store. This Stater Bros. does not have a bakery, which is unfortunate. They have some baked goods along the wall, but the selection is limited. I usually can find the things I need at Stater Bros, but it’s a bit of a hit-or-miss. Last time I went, they were out of 4 items I came to buy. This store in particular has an odd setup. The sodas are not with the rest of the energy drinks, Gatorades, mineral water, etc – they’re over by the alcohol section on the other side of the store. The sour cream is also nowhere near other refrigerated goods like butter, cream cheese, etc. Sour cream is over by the milk – halfway across the store and on the other side. Bacon is also on the other side of the store from the other meat such as hamburger and chicken. There is juice in the fridges on the right side of the store, but there are more juices over by the baked goods near the front. The whole thing is a bit confusing, so I wish they’d rearrange the whole store. Overall, I’d much rather go to the nearby Albertsons. The employees are nicer, the store is cleaner and more modern, it’s organized more sensibly, and the produce is phenomenal. The only things Stater Bros. really has going for it(over Albertsons) are its meat, its«buy 4» discounts on alcohol(vs. «buy 6» at Albertsons), and its proximity to APU for those college students.

I love the new look of this location! Whenever I am in town to visit the folks, I stop by here to get a few things because items are way more affordable here than in Pasadena. I will say that they have excellent produce so I usually take a few fresh items home. However, the personal care and household items are not as affordable as the food so you may want to stick to food when you are here. There are always a ton of people so there will be lines. Staters also has some great deals on random items so be sure to take a look at all of the tags. I have yet to experience a rude employee so let’s keep it like that.

Great meats at a fair cost. Fresh produce. Great rotating deals on grocery items. Good everyday prices on alcohol, with some great rotating deals. It can be packed, and some of their staff has come and gone(some gone for the better!), but the ones that have been there for some time are great and helpful. I do most of my grocery shopping here, save for the Hispanic items.

This review’s been a long time coming . I’ve been coming to this Staters since I was a little girl with my mom. I’ve seen some really great employees(Pam, Terri, Robbie, Francis… the originals) and I’ve seen some incredibly rude ones! The reason I finally decided to write a review is what happened today. One of there little college idiots they hired(short girl with too much eyeliner and plugs in her ears) mocked an Asian man when he asked her where he might find miso soup. She was rude to his face, then proceeded to go into the back and laugh and speak in a mocking Asian accent to the other employees who were in the back(she’s NOT Asian.) It wasn’t quiet, everyone could hear them. Then the one she was laughing with(‘Blondie’…we’ll get back to her) comes out rudely and tells the man where he MIGHT find it, but doesn’t bother to even stop walking as she tells him this. Poor guy looked confused. I’ve been witness to outright flirting amongst the baggers and the workers stocking the shelves. As well as text messaging by Blondie while she’s ringing up my groceries. One of the MANAGERS was in the aisle one time and talking with an employee stocking shelves, telling him about his«F’d up weekend»(verbalized the F word several times) And I shop here with my 12 yr old who has to see this! Once, a customer in front of me was checking out her groceries, didn’t have enough money, she of course, had to take a few items out of the bags and wait for the cashier to ring a new total. Blondie was getting so irritated having to do HERJOB she was sighing at the lady and making her feel so embarrassed. When the lady left, Blondie and the bagger started to talk bad about ‘difficult customers’ and laugh and looked to me and another man standing behind me for approval as if to say«You see what we go thru with our job?» YEAHRIGHT! That’s the point STATERBROSAZUSA this is your job! I’ve talked with the Good Cashiers, the ones mentioned before, and complained to them, and they’ve said«Your not the only one who complains about the staff here». How sad is that? I’ve contacted Stater Bros Corporate office one time before this to let them know and they seemed concerned. But nothing changed. If anything it has gotten worse. The employees are young college kids just trying to get by, so they don’t care about the customer service that Stater’s is supposed to be known for. This store is a HUGE disappointment.

I’m glad to have a Stater Bros market right in my back yard. Good prices and always find what I’m looking for. Check out lines move efficiently and the store is open till 11 pm. The cons for this store is you may occasionally run into a snobby employee but generally most are friendly. Recently remodeled so hard to locate some items Stater Bros also has their own private label brands which I think are not bad.

I have been to this location a few times before and both times have not been anything special. The only reason why I have shopped here was because of convenience, not because I personally like Stater Bros. Anyways, I think Stater Bros in general is overly priced and is a bit old fashion. There are always college and high school kids working here(not just this location, but other Stater Bros that I have been to) and a lot of times the service isn’t always that great because of that. I prefer shopping at Ralph’s or Vons. Well anyways, this store is located in a plaza that shares it with Falafel Me Fresh Mediterranean and a Phở restaurant. There is plenty of parking in the lot as well.
