I have been coming here for years and loved what they did for me every time! Erica, Naloni and Jenna– all amazing! The reception and shampoo crew are kind and welcoming.

I have been a client of curl evolutions for so many years now, I can’t remember how many years! the level of service and attention has not changed at all, to maintain the superior quality of running the salon year after year just shows the commitment and fortitude not only the owner has but also the quality staff Allison employs! Jess is my stylist, not only is she fun but she absolutely knows what she’s doing when it comes to hair! just so you know how committed I am to this salon I am booked for all of 2016… if you want to experience professionalism, great color, great cuts or a whole new look, this is the place to do it! your hair comes first then the hospitality is after… call now and make an appointment!

I found this place last year and I never want to go anywhere else. The team at Curl Evolution is professional, friendly, and very kind. I always hated my curly frizzy hair growing up. But since these guys taught me the best care and style practices I’ve learned to love it. Curl Evolution is a really really great place, and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

I had my hair cut and styled by Jenny. She was extremely knowledgable and energetic. The salon was very busy and she was working with at least 3 clients while I was there, so she must be in high demand. The cut was great, although I wish there were some more layers. That is my personal preference and my own fault for not voicing. I also loved the styling tips, my curls have never looked better than the day I walked out of that salon. Jenny is a curl wizard. One of the other reviewers mentioned that she didn’t like that her stylist used a gel and that her curls were crunchy– my tip to others would be to tell your stylist ahead of time that you like your curls soft. Jenny used a Moroccan Oil on me, and I liked it so much that I purchased it. My only complaint is the cost and it is the only thing that will keep me from coming more than 1x per year.

Growing up as a Curly Girl, it’s always been a struggle to find(and STAYWITH) a salon that can cut, color and style my lion’s mane of curls. In the past, I’ve often overpaid for a cut/style I hated and was too embarrassed to ask them to fix it, only to throw it up into a ponytail until my next appointment. It got to the point where I hated having curly hair and wished I had straight hair like everyone else. Somehow I stumbled upon the CurlyGirl website and it was a game changer. Through a search engine, I found Curl Evolution and after many years of going there, I couldn’t imagine trusting my curls with anyone else. I usually book my appointments with Erica, who is such a sweetheart. She listens to what you’re looking for, and makes suggestions if she thinks it might not work for your face shape/hair texture instead of just doing it, which I appreciated. Right now, I’m rocking a short curly pixie which I NEVER would have had the courage to try if not for this salon and her. I have honestly never walked out of this salon with a haircut I haven’t loved. They have their own line of product which is sulfate free(healthy for your curls) and smells divine. They also carry the DevaCurl line, which is what I started out using and what is usually recommended for most new Curly Girls, also sulfate free. When you go for your first curly cut they will walk you through the process step by step so you can do it on your own at home. The new salon is gorgeous and HUGE. They even have their own parking lot(which was always my main complaint about their old location). Make an appointment. Love your curls again!

After too many visits to $ 5 barber shops I started shopping for a salon. Not all expensive(that’s more than $ 5, by the way) places are worth it. Curl Evolution is. I recommend it highly and so does everyone else, it seems. Twice I tried to just walk in, and it’s not possible. Even today I had to make an appointment a week sooner than I wanted just to get in.

Coming to curl evolution was a very interesting experience. My stylists name was Sharon(I think? So forgetful) she talked me through the process and cut my hair dry. Immediately it started springing back to life which was great. Since it was my first visit I got a conditioning treatment with my wash and a «lesson» on how to do the curly girl method. I played dumb to be polite even though I have already researched the method on my own times before. The washer was very nice and she massaged my head a little which felt great and the products smelled so good. The final step of the process was the reason I cannot give a 5. The styling process. They use a deva gel which makes a cast onto your curls and gets all hard and scary and then it softens up. I am not a fan of the way it came out on my looser curls. My tighter curls came out great but my top layer is so delicate and it just looked poofy wavy. I believe when I wash it myself it will look great. Overall I will not give a 5 because of the style not being to my preference and the price. It was expensive for the cut and style alone and I got excited and bought products which were probably unnecessary. $ 100 total. A splurge I will try not to come back until my hair really needs it, like it did today. Pleased but not ecstatic. I think girls with curlier hair than me will love this place even more
