We do not have a lot of choices on the islands, but BIGS is often more than a life saver when I need milk, other essentials, or just do not want to cook. The pizza is good and the people are always friendly. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee hit the spot. And the wine selection is not too bad either.

This is what a general store is supposed to be. The flat top stays busy. Locals in the know go for the coffee. They brew Wicked Joe’s from Brunswick and a small is a reasonable $ 1.30.

They had a bottle of wine when I need it one evening. Big life saver… stopped by the next morning for a great home made egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich with my brother. Friendly service and availability of options make this a great spot if you’re on the island.

Its a basic general store with wine (of course) so if you forget something on your way to the island, then stop here!
They also serve prepared food, but as in you have to eat it there. I don’t think they get many people who take out, but their baked beans were delicious.

Went into this store on a Wednesday to pick up some soda’s for the wife, ended up staying for a egg salad sandwich, meatball sub and a cheese pizza. Was 100% surprised by how good the food was. My wife said the egg salad was the best she ever had! Which hurt my feelings because I thought mine was the best. The Meatball sub had great flavor and they definitely didn’t skimp on the meatballs. The Cheese pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was pretty dang good. The staff was extremely friendly and I felt right at home. Would recommend this place to anyone.
