They have good service and good food at a great price. We always get a 2 for 20 and its always the steak. We go 2 or 3 times a week.

Don’t get the chicken crispers in honey chipotle from the 2 for $ 20 Entrée Menu. Bland and sauce was strong, didnt taste like honey or chipotle lol Server literally brought out our food along with appetizer, whick too 45mins. Appetizer is supposed to come during small talk before your food comes. I think she forgot about us. Never got a refill on my strawberry lemonade

Enjoy the Gosford Chili’s even time we come. The 2 for $ 20 meal is great. Nice atmosphere and always great service. This location is better than the one on Rosedale.

First time going to this Chili’s and I had to wait 20 minutes for a half empty restaurant. I was very unpleasant with the horrible service and did not feel welcoming in this place. This will be the last time I will come here. Servers did not feel friendly and the people behind me were surely racist(if reading this from the people behind me, hope your trip to San Diego is horrible), making my day to be ruined.

Service was so slow they brought the food out in the wrong order. Once we received the food and they corrected the order the server said the cook got wrong it was good. Would I come here again? Not without trying everywhere first.

This is the worst place to go to on a Sunday night. We sat at a table for 15 minutes without any service. The waiter took our drink order, walked away to slowly clean a table, while we sat there waiting. Five minutes later and still no drinks. The staff has no sense of urgency at all and it wasn’t even busy! We decided to leave. Will not return.

I don’t know what it is? But this one in the SW sucks! From the food to their service! It’s sad that we have to drive to Rosedale when we want to eat at a chillies!

I know Chili’s is made up of primarily Tex-Mex dishes(which are delicious, btw) BUT we have to talk about their steak. Their steaks are consistently good, and you really cannot a get a better steak in this price range. Always, cooked to perfection — this is some quality steak, guys. And don’t get me wrong, those green enchiladas are great, but the steak will always have my heart. And hopefully, yours too! I’ve been to this location at least a dozen times and I can say the service and food are consistent.

Food was pretty good, but the service was a bit weird. Very nice guy, very friendly, just odd timing with service. My hubby’s steak was undercooked and the texture was sort of different … like … marinated? Maybe it was! I dunno! The ambiance is nice, but the prices just seem kind of disproportionate to the quality of the food, which seems pre-prepared to a certain degree. But what chapped my hide was that the kids menu was a bit deceiving. I just don’t like tricks. It has a BIG $ 5.29 up in the left corner(see picture) which says it includes«your choice of entrée, side item and drink» — no asterisks, arrows or winky faces to indicate that not all drink choices over in the drink section on the same page are included in the price! So, if you’re not paying attention, you won’t see the super tiny print saying that a couple of the drink choices on the right are extra — either $.50 for the strawberry lemonade or $.99 for the IBC root beer to be added to the price of the meal. The treats are extra, but at least they’re shown a bit separate and they’re not included in the description of the meal. Also, gee whiz … please quit tricking the kids — and the parents — with the online table gadget that hooks the kids into the $ 1 games! There needs to be a parental consent to allow the kids to be able to charge to the food ticket, I believe! Tricky, tricky, tricky! But now we know what to watch for(I think) and the food is good so we’d probably go again.

Love this place! We love coming here always treated right. The bartender Kenny always greets us by name knows what we want and has our drinks ready as we sit down. He is the best!

Make sure not to order the onion rings as a substitute. Ordered them instead of regular fries and got 4 onion rings as the order.

This restaurant needs some serious help, or at least helpers, like employees would be nice. We went for lunch today tables everywhere empty, people waiting inside and outside, yet no people to wait on tables. I really think the manager needs to hire some help. Our food was good. The restaurant was open about an hour when we arrived.

Thought i’d give this place a second chance. Went in at about 8:30 Took 10 minutes before any host came to the front to greet us. Sat immediately after. Got the chicken enchilada soup to start it was great. Then after that there was no sign of our waitress for about 20 min then finally our texas fries appetizer came out and was cold, another 20 min passed still no sign of our waitress to tell her to reheat my appetizer at the least. Then food came out. Order the 10z sirloin and received the 6 oz which was DISGUSTING. TASTEDLIKEROADKILL. DONTSPENDURMONEYHERE. IFYOUWANTGREATSTEAKGOTOSORELLAS

Once again in return for dog sitting our neighbor’s gave us with a gift card to show their appreciation. This time it was for Chili’s. So we tried out the new location on Gosford as it was the closest one to our home. We found it to be clean and well kept as it should be since it is still very new. The wait staff was friendly and helpful and had us seated right away. Our food came out quickly despite the fact that it was 5 p.m. and people were coming in after work for dinner. We had some trouble with the terminal at our table when we tried to use it to pay our bill but our waiter came to our rescue when we couldn’t make it work. We scanned the menu and opted for a dinner special for $ 35 for two margaritas, an appetizer of which we took the chips and guacamole, two entrees and a dessert to share. My husband chose the ½ rack of ribs which consisted of 4 ribs, and I chose the fajitas carnitas. For desert we had the triple berry crumble. Here is what we thought of our dinner items: The chips were light and crispy and warm and the guacamole was very fresh although the salsa tasted like something out of a jar even though I liked it. The strawberry margaritas we chose were large and good but nothing out of the ordinary. My husband’s ribs were tasty but not plentiful, and the fries with it were ordinary. The pork carnitas I ordered were tender and plentiful but lacked enough seasoning. Fortunately it came with grated cheese. chopped tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream. I only got three small tortillas but they were warm and fresh. We took most of the pork home for burritos tomorrow. The triple berry crumble was made of a warm vanilla cake topped with vanilla ice cream, berries, and berry syrup and was quite good. All of the food was good and we enjoyed it but I can’t really say it deserved more than three stars to three and one half stars. However it was a lot of food for $ 35 and we certainly couldn’t eat it all. As it was I ate more than I probably should have. Given all that I would go back again if only to redeem the points I earned by registering for their rewards program.

*First time at this Chili’s and I want to first say that the entrance is confusing. The door that faces the parking lot is NOT the main entrance; that’s the entrance for pick up orders. The main entrance is actually facing Gosford.* Arrived on a Monday at 2:45 p.m., and upon walking in, I was surprised to see how nice everything was! Well, it is practically brand new, but still. The layout was nice and everything was clean. Even the bathroom was nice and clean! That’s always a plus! It wasn’t busy at all, only handful of tables were occupied. We were seated quickly and a waitress zipped(yes, she was zippy) by to take our drink orders and came back quickly with them. She set them down and jammed off again like she was gonna lose the race! After about 7 mins, we had to look for her and flag her down to take out orders. She came back and said she forgot what she was doing.(Really, lol) We placed our orders; I got the Prime Rib bowl, my husband got the unlimited enchiladas, one kid got the Mac and the other, pepperoni pizza. Our food came out fairly quickly and we were pretty surprised that it was good! The enchiladas were piping hot and cheesy; delicious. When I dug into the rice in my bowl, I was expecting limey goodness, but it was a bit bland and dry but nothing a little Cholua couldn’t fix. My daughter actually got«real» mac and cheese, and my son’s pizza looked like a real personal pan pizza. We were all stuffed and pleased with our meal. Not much else to say! The only complaint I have about this establishment is that I felt the waiters and waitresses were a bit unprofessional??? I think that’s the word I want to use. They lacked a bit in that area. Overall, it was a good dining experience. Will definitely be back!

I’ve had really good experiences with their food for the most part and kept wondering why the reviews were so bad… Last night I learned why. We’ve been many times and have always had good service so I have no complaints there. In terms of the food, I guess it’s pretty hit-and-miss. I’ve had burgers and have enjoyed every one Of them but last night my husband had a bacon burger and the bacon tasted like it was microwaved. Literally. It didn’t taste good at all. I had the chicken and«carnitas» fajitas. First of all, I’ve never had carnitas in my fajitas. That’s just weird. I ordered them because I was curious and wanted to see how they looked when they came out and lo-and-behold, the onions and bell peppers were on the bottom and the chicken and«carnitas» were layered on top. I’ve made fajitas once or twice in my life(plus, you know, I’m Mexican) but I don’t think I’ve had fajitas layered like that before. Usually they’re tossed together and mixed well as they’re cooking. This stuff was obviously all cooked separately, then layered on the cast-iron skillet, on which all of the ingredients were supposed to be cooked on. Together. No good. Honestly, the«carnitas» were not carnitas. I think these are made in a pressure cooker or quasi-braised or something. Carnitas are supposed to be fried. There was no frying involved in the making of these carnitas. Seriously, don’t try them. Not even the flavor was good(even if I just considered it a pork dish, not necessarily carnitas). Stay away from«carnitas» at Chili’s. I’m sad about last nights food experience after the great experiences I’ve had in the past but it was just that bad. The food is just ok, most of the time. Maybe. The service is fine. I give this place an average rating. Too bad. I really wanted it to do well…

My boyfriend got a $ 25 Chili’s gift card for Christmas, so why not? This location was closer to us, and the Rosedale location is always beyond crowded. It was a Saturday around 4/5PM, so it was busy. I can understand that, being a weekend and being at night. Just for the two of us, it was about to be a 25 minute wait, and with a lot of people waiting, we had to wait outside. After a while we were called in and were seated. It was VERY busy on the floor. We ordered a half order of the Texas Cheese Fries, but it took a while to come out. When we finished ordering, we were still waiting on our cheese fries, and our server apologized and offered chips and salsa on the house while we waited on our original appetizer. On top of that, we had to wait on the chips to be made, while we waited on everything else Our cheese fries came out, then a good 2 minutes later, our entrees came out, ANDTHEN our chips and salsa came out! I was so overwhelmed with food, I didnt know what to do with myself. The chips were VERY oily, stuck together, and a bit raw in some places. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was very greasy and dripping in places. My boyfriend got the enchiladas, which were very salty according to him. When we were finished with our food, we asked for to go boxes, and they gave us extra chips for all the trouble and waiting that we had to go through. We were also given to go cups for our drinks as well, for free. Servers were amazing, but the wait and food didn’t quite make it for me this time around. Maybe I’ll give it another try in the future.

I actually quite enjoy this Chilli’s location! So long as I’m sitting in the bar area, I’ve had fantastic service and great food. I usually get a steak and have not been let down. Now that I’m typing this, I’m actually craving a visit and will likely go as soon as this review is completed. I recommend that if you’ve had a negative visit in the past, that you give me one more try. I also recommend that if you haven’t been to this location before, ignore the bad reviews mostly posted when they were new, packed and it was all crazy.

Happy hour is 3 – 7 and 9-closing plus all day Sunday! Stopped in for dinner around 7pm and the lounge was about half full. I started with the Presidente Margarita. Nice citrus/orange flavor which was pretty good. Tables, floor and bar area were clean. The two servers were very friendly and attentive!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Reading the older reviews, we were a little trepidatious, but it’s close to home and we HATE driving to Rosedale, so we ventured forth. We didn’t wait for even one second; we walked in and were immediately seated at a booth. Place was half full about 6pm on a Monday. Server immediately took our drink order & delivered it quickly, and we asked for a couple more minutes to check out the menu; no problem. I ordered a half rack of ribs with Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, smoked potatoes, and a side salad. I asked for certain veggies to be removed from the salad, and it arrived exactly as I asked. Their ranch is quite tasty, not sour like some can be, and I enjoyed it. The garlic croutons were clearly made onsite and had a very fresh crisp to them. The ribs were delicious; I could easily have eaten a full rack. The Dr Pepper BBQ sauce was sweet, but not grossly so, and I’d have this again easily. The new smoked potatoes, not so much. Just not much flavor there, and the dipping sauce was an unidentifiable white pudding that was neither sweet nor savory. Would not order these again. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Bacon Burger, ordered with mustard and a black-bean patty. The bacon was underdone initially, but the server pleasantly took it back and returned very quickly with four very crispy strips, perfect! Enough to share some with me. The bacon is applewood smoked and has a very nice flavor. She said her burger was terrific after that, and ate every bite. We shared her fries, and they were pretty much average, but complimented my ribs & her burger well. We shared a skillet chocolate chip cookie, which is a soft, warm cookie topped with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream. It was perfectly done, a little crunch on the edges, and the rest just melt-in-your-mouth sweet. We used a gift card to pay at the tabletop ziosk, and cash to pay the difference. A different server took our cash, and then we were kinda in limbo; we didn’t have a final wrap up with our server, and I hope she didn’t think we stiffed her when we left. She was great, and we enjoyed the whole meal. I would be pleased to dine here again.
